"Chris ocean blue pool service I’ve been doing startups for liquid renovations for the past six years and I’ve heard nothing but good things from all his customers and how professional they are which makes my job so much easier taking over the pool from that point on. Thank you Wes and Lee"

Customers say: Quality work

"JJ is a wonderful guy to do business with. His salesman Don is extremely knowledgeable and another great guy. These guys are class acts. They started our pool in the middle of June and we were swimming in it by the third week of August. My neighbors hired another company that began there pool a month sooner, and their pool was not completed till early November. JJ and his crew are top notch from start to finish. You can't beat the work they do for the price they ask. In retrospect I wish I had spent a little more on options like extra lights and a larger waterfall, but we were under a strict budget. I am very pleased with the beautiful pool that they built for us and have recommended two friends to Tropical Breeze for their pools."

"They swear they contact you each day prior to work. I was called only one morning. They did not inform me they were filling the pool on Saturday afternoon. Plus they hired a subcontractor to polish and acid wash. These guys performed the finish, they put the hose on the bottom with no cloth around the end which resulted in blotches where the hose ran. Other than those things. the Quartz was a good choice along with my tile upgrade. I won't recommend them due to them filling the pool a week prior to my requested date. They promise to work with you but all that I asked for fell on deaf ears"

Small jobs welcome

"Creative Design went above and beyond the call of duty for our Project. Angiâ s Review should allow a category to be entered as well as a drop down list. We had a large and complex swimming pool completely removed and filled. Josh Bermudez was highly professional and efficient. He had the heavy machinery required to do this challenging job. He has knowledge of pluming, electricity, landscape grading and removal of concrete and rebar. His price was fair and the job was done quickly and perfectly. If you have a big landscaping job to do, Josh Bermudez is your man. His crew were also polite and professional. I want to adopt Josh Bermudez."

Customers say: True professional

"Our landscaping in Menlo Park needed a complete refresh. The team replaced thirsty plants with drought-tolerant options that still provide plenty of color and curb appeal. We're using much less water without sacrificing appearance."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

Construction typically takes 3-6 months, including site preparation and assembly.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.
