He worked with us to design the final solution (a unique shaped concrete pad with stamp design) which ended up being much less expensive and much more beautiful and functional than the original plan (a wood deck). He went beyond what was asked to make sure he and we would be proud of the result. Allwyn asked great questions, attended to detail, and offered creative changes. We had some challenges with an electrician Allwyn subcontracted. The electrician missed some appointments. Ultimately, the work was completed and the quality was excellent. When we started looking into getting a patio cover we got bids from three different companies.  We choose to go with PatioCrew.  Now we have a big beautiful insulated patio cover and we love it.  Warren and the crew were all really nice and polite to work with.  They specialize in patio covers and it shows.  They got the permit from the city for us and had no problem hooking up lights and fans under the cover.  The workmanship and quality is great, and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

"We purchased a Sunbrella material retractable awning from North County Deck in 2010, as part of our new deck installation.  North County Deck obtained the awning from Abbott Industries/Abbott Awnings.  It is a large awning (more than 20 ft) operated from a switch inside our house.  The awning has a manual operation in case of power outtage.  It is well made and came with a 5 year warranty.  Recently the awning material split along a seam.  We notified North County Deck, who contacted Abbott and arranged to have the awning picked up and repaired.  Today (11/19/2014) a team from Abbott Awnings reinstalled the awning and ensured it worked properly.  There was no charge to us.  Though Abbott Awnings has new owners since we purchased the awning, they have retained their commitment to customer service.  We will be glad to purchase from them in future.
