"I booked Moses's Cleaning Service to clean three couches. They responded to me quickly through Angi. The couches weren't that soiled, but had lingering odor from our cat (marking/urinating on them in many places). The couches also had white stains from the enzyme cleaner we used to try to treat the cat urine. Moses (or someone who worked for him, I wasn't sure) came out on a Saturday to inspect the couches and give me an estimate. He was very polite and respectful. He said he was hopeful he could remove the stains and treat 80% of the odor (cat urine is notoriously hard to remove). That was better than I'd hoped, and the quote was very reasonable, so we set a time for the cleaning that coming Thursday. He said it would take 5 hours. He was on time and got started right away. After he had finished the first two couches, he was excited to show me how the stains were completely gone and the odor was nearly gone. They looked great and smelled soooo much better. Same with the third couch. He finished about an hour early which I appreciated. I am really pleased with the results, the service, and the price. I will definitely book again for future couch or carpet cleanings."

"Great and pretty reliable company to work with. My house was serviced for the cleaning 2 days after I spoke to the dispatch and booked the service. Yolanda (the dispatch) was nice and patient. She asked me some questions and told me the person that will visit my house for the work. Another thing that I liked was that the technician had his uniforms and he was nice person as well.

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

It’s not customary to tip HVAC technicians, and most professionals won’t expect it. However, it’s a nice way of showing your appreciation for the work they do, especially if they come out in inclement weather or on a weekend or holiday to fix an emergency issue if your heat or AC goes out in extreme temperatures. A good tip would be between 10% to 20% of the total bill, depending on how above and beyond the tech goes for your repair and on the total cost of your HVAC repair or service. For something like a routine tune-up or scheduled maintenance, tips aren’t expected.

No, running your furnace without an air filter isn’t better than running it with a dirty filter. Even if it’s dirty, a filter will still prevent particles from blowing around your ducts and your house. However, neither of these options is good for your furnace or your health. Replace your filter once every one to three months for optimal furnace performance and air quality.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

Putting an air filter in backward can reduce airflow, which means your air conditioner has to work harder, putting a strain on your HVAC system. This can result in higher energy bills, premature repair, or even system replacement. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines to identify what is the front and back of the filter.

Ozone can damage building materials and belongings in your home, as the same oxidizing powers that allow it to remove odors can break down other things in your living space. However, it would take long-term exposure for any noticeable damages to occur. Since ozone smoke removal takes 24 to 36 hours, a treatment or two won’t have much of a negative impact on your belongings.
