It turns our we went for a different property and did not need to have Ralph go up there, but I just wanted to give them five starts for their response and availability should we have needed it."

They advised me that the most cost-effective way for me to insulate the roof was a hybrid of Closed-cell spray and additional bats which would give me a R58+ value. It was a creative approach that would save me money and allow me to still have a very high insulation rating. Their crew came in to do closed cell spray insulation for the roof and the second time to do the bat insulation for roof and walls. They were super clean, laid down protection for plumbing, electrical, floors and walls; did their work, removed everything and cleaned up after themselves. Super happy with their work."

"During the process of removing the acoustic ceiling they took down all the ceiling fixtures. When they put them back they were in the wrong place. A ceiling fan was not reinstalled at all and a bathroom fixture put in its place with no fixture now in the bathroom. this should have been a clue that something was wrong. I contacted the provider but failed to get a call back. Now I have to hire an electrician to complete the job correctly.

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

A-1 was willing to negotiate an agreed upon lower bid. Due to the company moving to a new location, the office manager went out of her way to make sure that the work was done on a convenient date. The two men that performed the work did an excellent job! They showed up on time and kept me informed of their progress. The new ceilings are wonderful and the accent wall in my office is great. I love my new light and bright upstairs. The men made sure that the clean up was done so that I would hardly know they had been there. Great job!"
