Toxicity and Mold Removal

I hired them to come out and do some mold removal for a leak in my house. Originally some guy comes out and quotes me some ridiculous price. Then I get an email and they say he's been fired (wouldn't say why) so they come out and re-quote it and its much cheaper and I hire them. I paid $2500 and they removed some sheet rock and sprayed some anti mold spray. The guy was there for 4 hours. Way way way overpriced, they kept saying that some program makes the prices and they can't adjust it. They also didn't replace the sheetrock so now I have to have another company do it. Would stay away.

"Jeff, I am sorry you had different expectations than the services in which were provided and called out in our project scope and contract. We also called out what was not included "build-back". You were provided an adjusted credit for the services that were not provided from original estimate. Our contract (which you signed) clearly stated this was only for "mold remediation in the effected areas" that are considered dangerous and as a courtesy cleaned lumber mold without charge. We are experts at removing Mold and we are licensed and certified to follow IICRC S520 industry standards. We are not a handyman service. We are backed by a general contractor and can provide estimates for replacing insulation, drywall and paint separately but it was our understanding you already had a general contractor. NCR workers were very responsive and responsible professionals in every way when it came to our mold issue. They seemed to go above and beyond simply a satisfactory performance to very excellent when it came to mold removal and additional cleaning. I was especially impressed by the way they worked in a fully furnished house, carefully moving everything out of the way--putting fragile items in boxes, etc. I was impressed.
