"First we had the patios stained. Aaron arrived promptly with his crew. The wood looked beautiful. I plan to add pictures soon. The wood was completely coated and we feel confident it will last for several years. Once the patios were completed the house was painted. We also have a stucco storage building separate from our home. We asked Arron to pick up two sample colors. He did not want to pick the color for us but he did advise which color he thought would look best with the trim color we chose. We appreciated his advise because the job came out beautiful. We noticed a spot that we thought needed attention. He returned the next day and even though the issue was not included in the cost he took action with no charge. Aaron was professional and responsive.
"We first used SCCCI more than 20 years ago for exterior coating and window retrofitting services. Because their work was professionally completed then and held up very well over the years, we elected to use them again. Again, we found the quality of their work to be high, and their responsiveness to concerns prompt and courteous. While it may have been less expensive to work directly with painting and window subcontractors, which also would have allowed us to use a different window manufacturer, the overall project price and quality of the windows used were reasonable enough to make it worth paying a little extra to have the whole project coordinated and guaranteed by SCCCI, whom we know stands behind their work, even after more than 20 years."

When you’re painting a garage floor, it’s best to use a combination of rollers and brushes. You’ll want to start with a brush, making a border around the edges where the floor meets the wall. From there you can use a roller, though some people also like to do the entire first coat with a brush because it’s easier to work the paint into the textured concrete.
New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.
Spills like water, oil, or grease can wear down the epoxy's strength, lowering its lifespan. While this damage doesn’t happen immediately, it can accumulate over time, so cleaning up any garage spills as soon as they happen is essential. Avoid cleaning with or using dish soap on your epoxy floors since they will leave an unattractive residue. Instead, you can use half of a cup of ammonia diluted with a gallon of water for cleaning purposes.
Polished concrete floors also have downsides. Some homeowners, for example, might dislike the coldness of the material (though area rugs can help warm up the space). Concrete floors are also hard, which isn’t always ideal for children and pets. What’s more, these floors are susceptible to cracking, and repairs can be costly. Some homeowners might not like that installation isn’t DIY-friendly.
Yes, polished concrete floors are worth it for homeowners who want durability, style, and low maintenance in one sleek flooring surface. You get the modern visual appeal of stone or tile with far less upkeep and far less cost. Polished concrete flooring is tough enough for high-traffic areas, it’s a great choice for people with allergies, and it’s easy to clean. If your existing concrete is in good shape, polishing it can give you solid value that shines on for years.
