Emergency services offered

"I was impressed from the moment I contacted Tim with New Life Painting, he was very responsive and we were able to schedule a free consultation right away. Tim was flexible with our appointment and arrived on time and was friendly and professional. We received the estimate quickly and based on the great price we decided to proceed with painting the house. Tim’s team was so professional! We were so impressed with all of the extra services that they provided. Tim’s team pressure washed our gazebo and decks and that wasn’t even part of the project. They spent a lot of time prepping the house for painting, removing and later replacing light fixtures, moving furniture, and filling gaps in the wood. The team was on time everyday and did a great job cleaning everything at the end of the job. The house looks amazing and I would hire New Life Painting again and I highly recommend this company to handle any painting project! Tim and his team made this project a joy and it was a great relief to have them handle everything. If you want peace of mind and the job done right you won’t go wrong hiring Tim and New Life Painting!"

Small jobs welcome

"My water heater blew and I have used Jamie to fix a few issues around the house. He explained to me over the phone how to turn the water heater off so the water would stop leaking. He came over right away to assess the problem, then went straight to Home Depot to buy a new water heater. Within a few hours, he had it installed and up and running. Jamie is definitely my handyman for life and I will be calling him for any problem big or small."

Small jobs welcome

"We had a pretty large job. An acre and a half that was pretty heavily overgrown with brush. They were parts that we wanted to look nice, and other parts that just needed to be cleared for fire control. They gave us a quote that reflected that differing level of effort, And did a really nice job. They showed up on time, with a reasonable size crew, and worked like heck until it was all done. I will definitely use them again!"

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Always begin by removing large debris, leaves, and branches from your lawn to make room for the rest of your lawn maintenance checklist. Move on to mowing, weeding, and edging in the spaces between your lawn and garden. Lastly, clean off all hardscapes, porches, and patios for a fresh and tidy appearance.

Not always. The answer depends on your specific vinyl siding product. While some manufacturers advise against pressure washing, others recommend pressure washing as long as pressure is kept below a certain threshold.

The best pressure washer nozzle to clean a driveway is a surface cleaner with three wheels to ensure you get smooth, even coverage. The attachment allows you to deep clean a driveway’s large surface without much strain on your body, especially if you add two extender wands. Choose a pressure washer that offers 2500 to 3000 PSI and about 3 gallons of water per minute.

Yes, a pressure washer uses less water than a garden hose. There are many ways to use a pressure washer, and it can be an eco-friendly hose substitute. While a pressure washer expels water with greater force, it uses 50% to 70% less water than a garden hose. Specifically, hoses put out six to 10 gallons per minute (GPM), while pressure washers only use two to five GPM.
