"I interviewed 3 painting companies before choosing NEW LIFE PAINTING. Tim MIller is the owner of NEW LIfe, I knew after meeting Tim that his company was who I wanted to work with. Tim's professioalism and knowledge were what I needed to get the project done. Tony, the crew foreman was here every day and answered any questions that I may have had. I must say that the amazing crew were respectful, friendly and worked very well together. Each day when NEW LIFE left the jobsite it was clean and tidy. NEW LIFE PAINTING, I am grateful to all of you and will hire NEW LIFE PAINTING for any painting projects I will have. I highly recommend NEW LIFE PAINTING"

"Scott painted all the interior walls in our new house, he patched and painted the garage and made it so much nicer, he painted our kitchen cabinets, which turned out beautiful and saved us so much money compared to refacing, and he also painted a tricky accent wall covered with reclaimed wood after patching it, and that changed from a weird problem to an elegant feature of the house. All these projects were expertly done on time while I was away, and his estimates for each were accurate and lower than those of his competitors. When I have other projects I will go straight to him."

"Job was done efficiently, professionally, and Jason (the owner and painter) was personable and left no indication he had painted other than a super paint job on the living room.

"The project is to plaster, texture and paint the recessed ceiling in the kitchen. Chris (John's brother) came over to provided a free quote, which was competitive. He spent 3 days plaster, texture and finally paint the ceiling and also repaired some existing paint cracks. He always showed up on time, prep the work area and left everything clean when the work was done. This company did an excellent job and I would hire them again for future projects."

"My highest recommendation I have ever given to a contractor. Diaz Painting painted my house the first week of November. The weather was constantly changing between rainy, windy, to nice. Diaz Painting tarped sides of my house to keep the paint protected. I was home the entire time working in my office. The painters were pleasant and hard working. A very positive experience at a fair price."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to remove window decals is to soak the area in hot, soapy water. Let it sit for 15 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card. You can also remove window decals with white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or applying heat from a hairdryer or steam cleaner.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

Scrape softened caulk with a putty knife or slice hardened caulk with a utility knife. Hard-to-remove caulk generally requires more time exposed to a softening solution, like a commercial product or rubbing alcohol. A few hours to a day later, the softened caulk will come off with the help of common household tools. In many cases, you can grab needle-nosed pliers for caulk with multiple old layers and pull the material off its base.

Yes, paint thinner can damage some surfaces. Specifically, it can cause a lot of damage to laminate flooring if applied incorrectly.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.
