JV Painting painted the exterior of my home, and I was so pleased with their work that I had them paint the exterior and interior of a new house. JV Painting was hired to paint the complete interior of my parents' home in 2021, and their work was exquisite. I knew after conducting interviews with three different painting companies that Javier (the owner) and his team were the clear choice. The main reasons were: Javier's attention to detail, his real interest in the project as demonstrated by the types of questions he asked as he surveyed the rooms, and the thoughtful recommendations and input he provided. The other two competitors just surveyed the rooms, asked the usual questions, and took notes, nothing more. I felt as if they were just order takers, and the exchanges between us felt oddly impersonal. (My Mom, who was alive at the time, also liked and preferred Javier.) Based on the excellent work that JV Painting did on the interior, we hired the team again to paint the home's exterior. Because Javier has such a great sense of color and style, I asked his opinion of our color choices for the exterior body (navy blue), trim (the particular variation of white to make it pop) and the door color (wine). It's great to have exchanges with a painter you trust who has the knowledge, the experience, and the sense of (architectural) style to back it up. This most recent project that Javier and his father completed (just a week ago) was on the exterior of my home. It is so well done that I received unsolicited compliments from four of my neighbors! I had hired my friend, Gail Parsons, a professional colorist, to choose the door, trim, and body colors. Color selection was especially challenging because the brick colors from the 1950s included an assortment in the yellow/faint melon variety. Gail's choices for the door, the trim, and the body were spot on, and JV Painting "sealed the deal" on the quality of the painting and their flawless technique. Javier had also suggested removing the cheap plastic trellis sheets that I had applied between the posts on the front porch and his recommendation was spot on. Javier is more than just a superb painter; his sense of style, knowledge of paint, aesthetics, and his commitment to technique and quality make him one of the best. If you hire JV Painting, you will thank yourself every time you gaze upon their work. You might even need to give your arm a rest for the many times you pat yourself on the back for having made such a great decision!
