"First of all let me start saying that Mila and Crew are awesome people you can trust/rely on. We had an existing rotten staircase with so many cracks . They removed and replaced with red wood materials . They asked for the requirements and were very good and fast in understanding what we wanted. Their work was perfect. They not only completed it in the scheduled time but also did a great clean up after the job. I asked them to seal the railing and they did together with the sanding including which was not in the initial scoop of work. Overall Mila and her crew did fantastic work and communication with in project was very clear. We highly recommend. They are very clear, patient, hardworking, friendly and accommodating. What else anyone would need? Thanks so much Mila and Geico Builders. I have already started letting everyone know about your work in my neighborhood."

"I submitted a request around 10 AM for someone to come and build a chicken wire fence for me. They called ahead, let me know they were on their way, and they arrived super quickly. They stayed in touch the whole time, went out to get the materials, and got everything done really fast. The final result looks so much better than anything I could have done myself, and I’m extremely pleased. If I need anything in the future, I would definitely choose I submitted a request around 10 AM for someone to come and build a chicken wire fence for me. "I asked Lisa to come and clean out my disastrous garage which is at least 800 sq ft. She and I found a mutually agreeable time. She arrived on time and ready to work. She helped me to make decisions about what to throw away and donate. She appropriately challenged me on a few items that I was clinging to. She was very kind and hard working. She did all the labor, organizing, and labeling. She created stations for gardening, tools, holiday items, art supplies, books, and memory keeping. I couldn't be more pleased. It took a total of 11 hours. I have been wanting my garage cleaned out and organized for years. Now it's done. It was too overwhelming for me. Lisa loved the challenge. Hire her. You won't regret it!"

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.

You can start by finding playground installers in your area that have amassed mostly positive reviews online. Next, search for the companies on the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to see if any consumer complaints have been filed. Once you rule out companies with poor reviews and a history of complaints, contact the remaining options and ask the following questions to find the right installer for you:

  • Will you pull permits if required?

  • Do you offer a warranty?

  • How long do you expect the installation to take?

  • Do you have experience working with the specific playground material I want?
