He was able to start within a few days, and kept me apprised of the progress and changes to the schedule. The work is simply beautiful, and I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the look of the final result. Juan was polite, considerate and put in honest days' work each day of the job, breaking the work into sensible stages to prevent interfering with or disturbing tiles that needed to set before it was wise to work in an adjacent area. "Due to an old shower valve and failing galvanized pipe behind existing shower tile, we had an ongoing leak issue. We were very pleased when Redo House assessed the situation and told us that the leak could be fixed and the tile could removed and reinstalled after another provider had told us the tile was not salvageable. We were impressed that their team went into the crawl space under the house and confirmed there was not water damage and provided photo evidence-all as part of the initial free estimate process. On the scheduled day, the team replaced the faulty valve, pipe (with copper), and re-installed the existing tile. You can virtually not tell that the tile was removed--very clean work. They also cleaned up some of the other tile that had mold growth and re-caulked areas where the glass wall was leaking and not sealed correctly with the floor pan. Our "like new" shower now works beautifully!"

"I do really enjoy the finished product. I went with wood-look ceramic tile and couldnt be happier with how it looks. The reason they don't get 5 stars though is that after the previous floor was removed and they were preparing the sub-floor, they called me and told me that the floor would need additional concrete leveling. I knew this would be needed, but I was told that the extensiveness of the leveling was included in the initial quote. They wound up charging me an additional $1400 for the leveling. That should have been included in the price they quoted me because it was obvious that it would be necessary in my older home. Expensive, and frustrating but the end result is very good."

"Excellent. We replaced a wood burning fireplace with a gas fireplace. We asked the company to see if they could remove the old tile without damaging it, a tricky task requiring some finesse. They managed to do that very well, and we were able to clean the old tile and have them place the tiles around the new fireplace which required a lot of precise cuts to fit the new fireplace size. They did a great job, and replaced/repaired and textured the sheetrock surrounding the fireplace. The workers were very neat and cleaned up everything when they finished. Highly recommended"

Juan regularly checked in with me to ensure I was happy with layout design, spacing, tiling, grout, installation of fixtures, etc. throughout the process. He provided good recommendations, while also having an open ear to the home owner's wants. True to his word, there were no hidden fees. The cost for the labor was as discussed prior to the start of the job and material costs were transparent. Also true to his word, Juan demo'd old tile, prepped the shower area for new tile, re-tiled, and did finishing touches (e.g., grout, re-install fixtures, etc.) in 2.5 days straight, so you don't have to deal with long wait times between steps/work days. As an additional plus, everyone at the Juan Infantas Tile group was very respectful of the home. Everyday, they newly covered floors, and they cleaned up (e.g., vacuumed, removed floor coverings, etc.) before leaving for the day."
