"I cannot recommend Osorio Masonrye enough. They were professional, very clean, and incredibly affordable. Last October 2022 we swapped out our old early-1990s gas insert for a new Heatilator Novus through Wizards Hearth and Home. The mason they recommended (Adam Osorio - Osorio Masonry) and his crew replaced the rock work around the outside of the fireplace to give it a modern-Southwestern look. All in all - we would go through Adam for ALL of our masonry needs moving forward. Thank you!"

"Very happy I found these folks. Scheduling was a challenge resulting from the pandemic, but once they were able to start, it was flurry of high quality professional work. "This was a property under contract during inspection period. Jack McGuire was very professional, definitely seemed very knowledgeable and an expert about foundations and explained everything. "I cannot recommend JP & his crew enough! Not only does our yard look beautiful, but the entire process from start to finish was absolutely seamless. JP came out the same day I requested a quote and started work the following week. Other contractors told me they couldn't get the tiles I wanted but Angel Sun was able to deliver. Cobblestone is not a type of rock but a term for a mosaic or rock laid down as a surface. It used to be made from the closest available stone but now can be made from nearly any hard rock, as machining has made shaping the stone much easier and cheaper.

Cutting stone comes with a number of safety hazards. First and foremost, if you’re not comfortable with the equipment required to cut stone, including blades and grinders, you could easily injure yourself. The heavy machinery also poses a risk to your ears if you don’t wear proper ear protection; similarly, you need to wear eye protection to keep debris from irritating your eyes.

However, the biggest risk from cutting stone comes from the stone dust. When breathed in, stone dust can be a huge hazard to your lungs. Always wear a face mask when cutting stone to prevent inhaling stone dust, and thoroughly clean the work area when you are finished.

Removing paint from brick can have both aesthetic and practical value. Some people prefer the timeless look of bare brick, making it worthwhile to remove old paint layers. Brick also lasts longer when unpainted, as paint traps moisture, causing the brick to deteriorate more quickly. If your brick walls are already in bad shape, stripping the paint off might do more harm than good.

You should use cement for a chimney crown. The purpose of the chimney crown is to protect the mortar below from water damage and the effects of weather. For this reason, chimney crowns should only be made using cement. When repairing a crown, use caulks and sealants designed for cement repair rather than mortar repair.
