"Had this company replace our living room and dining room windows 3 years ago. Liked them so much had them do 2 bedrooms, a bath, kitchen and sliding door. Drew, Victor, and Mathew took great care of our furniture, flooring and outdoor spaces. The windows are beautiful!"
"I called for an estimate and took the tables in to see if glass could be cut for the tops. The merchant was very helpful and had the glass ready the next day and the quality was excellent. The merchant was very friendly and helpful."
"The movers showed up on time and introduced the crew and asked for a tour so that they knew exactly what we wanted them to do. They warned us that the job would probably take longer than we expected after they saw how much we had to move (it never looks like a lot!). They got started immediately and worked very hard all day - it ended up taking about 10 hours and 3 trips. I can't imagine trying to move that much stuff by ourselves. We did encounter some issues along the way, but C2 moving was serious about making sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. They did not have a working cell phone with them so we lost some time with logistics. They forgot to remove the nubs from the fridge door handle and so had a lot of trouble (and spent a lot of time) trying to get the fridge out the front door. In the process, the door jam was damaged and the fridge was scratched. They sent out a handy man a couple of weeks later to fix the door jam and it was like it never happened. They also ordered a replacement panel for the fridge drawer that was damaged and came a few weeks later to replace it. We were very happy with their follow-up on the damages. They also discounted the cost for moving to compensate for some of the lost time during the move. "
"Beyond our expectations. We were told automatic garage door couldn't be installed. Installer made it work. Door is quiet, works marvelously. All personnel we have been in contact with have been courteous, friendly, helpful. Appointments are on time, sometimes sooner. We are both elderly and this door is such a benefit for us. We are on fixed income and found costs to be very reasonable."
"Duke did a great job installing the grab bars in my elderly parents bathroom. He is very knowledgeable in the construction field so can do just about anything you need done in your home. He is friendly and professional. He has very affordable rates which I appreciate since I'm retired and on limited income. I will definitely hire him again and encourage anyone reading this review to call him."
"Pablo is phenomenal at all tasks. He put together: Dining Table Assembled Chairs Assembled a Coffee Table Built a Crawl Space Door Painted with a Sprayer He did everything to perfection and was very quick with each job. Pablo has common sense and is trustworthy."
Yes, it’s possible a burglar can get through a deadbolt. Some types of deadbolts are harder for an intruder to get through, though. For example, a single-cylinder lock only requires breaking a window nearby and simply turning it. While other locks, such as a double-cylinder lock, may offer greater protection and make it harder for an intruder, no deadbolt is 100 percent effective.
While a pocket door can be a smart decision to add privacy in a small space, it most likely won’t increase home value. Pocket doors can sometimes be difficult to maintain, and they can pose a challenge to those with mobility issues. But generally speaking, adding an interior door where privacy is needed will be a benefit to homebuyers.
If a wooden door swells from temporary humidity or moisture, it should return to its original size as the environment dries out. However, if the door remains swollen due to prolonged exposure to moisture or water damage, it may not fully revert to its original shape and could require repairs or replacement. Using a dehumidifier and ensuring your doorway has good ventilation can help prevent and reduce swelling in wooden doors.
Many doorways feature two door jambs. These are installed on both sides of a doorway to prevent the door from swinging too far. Door jambs usually stop the door at 180 degrees when closed. A doorway floor transition sits between the door jambs on the floor, helping to create a safer and more aesthetically pleasing transition from one flooring type to the next.
You should hire a licensed and insured door contractor with prior experience installing folding doors. Installing these doors is much more complex than installing a standard sliding door; don’t leave this work to a general handyperson or attempt to install it yourself.
