"Had this company replace our living room and dining room windows 3 years ago. Liked them so much had them do 2 bedrooms, a bath, kitchen and sliding door. Drew, Victor, and Mathew took great care of our furniture, flooring and outdoor spaces. The windows are beautiful!"

"The movers showed up on time and introduced the crew and asked for a tour so that they knew exactly what we wanted them to do. They warned us that the job would probably take longer than we expected after they saw how much we had to move (it never looks like a lot!). They got started immediately and worked very hard all day - it ended up taking about 10 hours and 3 trips. I can't imagine trying to move that much stuff by ourselves.
We did encounter some issues along the way, but C2 moving was serious about making sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. They did not have a working cell phone with them so we lost some time with logistics. They forgot to remove the nubs from the fridge door handle and so had a lot of trouble (and spent a lot of time) trying to get the fridge out the front door. In the process, the door jam was damaged and the fridge was scratched. They sent out a handy man a couple of weeks later to fix the door jam and it was like it never happened. They also ordered a replacement panel for the fridge drawer that was damaged and came a few weeks later to replace it. We were very happy with their follow-up on the damages. They also discounted the cost for moving to compensate for some of the lost time during the move.

"Beyond our expectations. We were told automatic garage door couldn't be installed. Installer made it work. Door is quiet, works marvelously. All personnel we have been in contact with have been courteous, friendly, helpful. Appointments are on time, sometimes sooner. We are both elderly and this door is such a benefit for us. We are on fixed income and found costs to be very reasonable."

"Duke did a great job installing the grab bars in my elderly parents bathroom. He is very knowledgeable in the construction field so can do just about anything you need done in your home. He is friendly and professional. He has very affordable rates which I appreciate since I'm retired and on limited income. I will definitely hire him again and encourage anyone reading this review to call him."

Doors questions, answered by experts

If you want to let in plenty of sunlight while keeping your home well insulated, your best bet is a patio-style door with two doors with full-view windows, including one primary door and one secondary door behind it, such as a screen door or storm door. This two-door system will let in plenty of natural light while maximizing insulation.

The best material for a patio door depends on several factors, including your budget, local climate, and priorities like style, security, and maintenance. Wood offers a classic, high-end look but requires regular upkeep. Vinyl is a popular choice as it's affordable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance, making it a durable option for active households. Fiberglass is another durable material that stands up well to heavy use. For superior security, steel is a low-maintenance option, though with fewer design choices. Finally, lightweight aluminum makes doors easy to open and close, which is ideal for homes with children. The right choice balances durability, aesthetics, ease of use, and the amount of maintenance you're willing to perform.

Regular maintenance of patio doors can keep them working and looking their best for years to come. Cleaning tracks and rollers, replacing damaged or worn weatherstripping, and routinely checking the door’s alignment can extend the life of your patio doors. Exercising care while using the doors can also keep them in good condition; avoid slamming doors shut, exerting heavy pressure against them, or forcing the latch mechanisms.

Yes, they can enhance insulation by installing weather stripping and ensuring tight seals.

Yes, door sills are necessary components for most doorways. They serve several crucial functions, including weatherproofing, structural support, and aesthetic enhancement. Without a door sill, you risk water infiltration, drafts, and potential damage to the door and surrounding structure. Therefore, while they may seem small and often overlooked, door sills play a significant role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of a building's entryways.
