"The yard care was thorough and efficient. All weeds gone and the whole yard, back and front yard was sprayed as preventive maintenance. They were careful not to spray existing plants with weed spray. Fig sapling was removed per my request and it looks like a tree and not a bush Light trimming was done on the other plants. They were respectful, polite, a trustworthy company I am happy to work with."

Customers say: Quality work

"recently hired Rosario’s Landscaping for a much-needed project, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very beginning, they were professional, attentive, and quick to provide me with a fair and competitive estimate. Out of all the companies I contacted, Rosario’s Landscaping offered the best value by far. Both Rosario and Jesus were patient with my requests and went above and beyond to transform my yard, which had been overgrown and unmaintained for over a year. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they made sure to address every concern I had. The results speak for themselves—my landscaping looks amazing! I will absolutely be using Rosario’s Landscaping again in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, professional, and thorough landscaping services."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.

Yes, vinegar can be an effective way to kill individual dandelion plants to help in the hand-removal process. However, vinegar can also kill turfgrass, so use a targeted spray.

The fastest ways to kill weeds and unwanted grass include burning them, pouring boiling water on them, or pulling them out by hand, as these methods work almost instantaneously. For a quick-acting solution that works within a few hours, you can use a commercial-grade herbicide like glyphosate or a DIY vinegar, salt, and dish soap mixture. While effective, be aware that commercial herbicides introduce chemicals into your lawn. The slowest method for killing weeds is to starve them of sunlight and nutrients using mulch or fabric covers.

If possible, you should prioritize pulling weeds up by hand. However, be sure not to use your bare hands, as many weeds are sharp or otherwise irritating when they come in contact with skin. Always don thick, protective gardening gloves to protect your hands when you pull up weeds.

Yes. One of the main benefits of organic mulch is weed prevention. Organic mulch forms a physical barrier that blocks light and stops weeds from germinating. It can reduce your need to weed and improve the physical appearance of your garden.
