"I called several tree trimming companies for quotes for my project. It is just one large tree in my front yard. I called J&K first. The owner was interested in completing my project and provided a timely quote. Some of the other local services did not answer my calls and did not respond to my messages. J&K kept in touch while I was getting other quotes. I finally got quote from another tree service, but it was much higher than J&K. I went with J&K. The crew arrived timely on the appointed day. They completed the job quickly and cleared away all debris. I would use this service again because the owner seemed to care about my business, the price was the best i could find, and I was satisfied with the end result."

"Larry and Dave were the 2 that showed up. They got here around 9am and were gone by 11:30am. They worked together well and after they took the tree down and loaded,they raked they yard and got all the little limbs up. I would use this tree service again. I give them a big A+."

It can take anywhere from one month to a couple of years for tree roots to grow back in sewer lines. Tree roots can cause extreme havoc on your sewer lines, potentially cracking them and causing untreated wastewater to make its way into the groundwater. Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.

Only trim palm trees as needed, which is usually about once per year. However, don't stick to that schedule if the palm tree doesn't need it. Avoid trimming palm trees when possible. It’s best to trim palm trees only when you notice a buildup of dead fronds. That said, leave the brown fronds during the dormant season because this organic matter helps protect the tree from the cooler weather.

If tree branches cross well into your property line, in many cases, these branches become part of your property, and you can trim them up until your neighbor’s property line. However, this issue will vary based on local ordinances, so you should do your research before making any decisions. Better yet, speak with your neighbor about how to handle any tree issues. 

If you don’t mind the branches, you can leave them be, but if they’re becoming a hazard, it’s definitely worth having a conversation.
