We do commercial and residental tree removals, pruning and topping.We give free no obligation estimates. We are insured for your saftey. 65' bucket truck work, 20' gooseneck dump trailer and skid steer (bobcat with grapple for bulk tree removal).

I own several rental properties and David has done numerous jobs for me, first as a carpenter and later as a tree removal professional. David has always taken great pride in what he does and his work is neat. He recently cut and removed two pecan trees at one of my rental properties. His price was fair and he removed all the limbs including a couple of piles that were already there before he started. I didn't pay him anything until the job was completed."

Although many tree roots will continue to grow after the tree has been cut, there are a handful of exceptions to this rule. While species like elms, ficus, and willows have roots that will regrow with a vengeance, pine, oak, and maple roots will die when they’re cut down. You can often tell if a tree is grafted because it will have a noticeable line. Above the line, the bark will look different than it does below the line. It’s most common with fruit trees.

The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

Generally speaking, you’ll want to avoid flush cuts, which are cuts made as extremely close to the trunk or main branch. These cuts can weaken your tree, lower its natural defense mechanisms, and even cause decay. You’ll also want to avoid tree topping, which is the total removal of the leader and upper main branches of a tree. 

Most pros will advise against either of these methods, which is why hiring a pro is often the best choice when it comes to tree trimming.

A tree growing close to a house can cause problems, but cutting it down isn’t always the best solution. Trees planted close to your home could damage your foundation as their roots grow. In addition, they can drop large branches on your house, make it easier for critters and insects to access your home, and encourage mold growth. But if the tree has been there for a long time, it may not pose a risk to your foundation, and it could be more beneficial—not to mention cheaper—to strategically trim it instead.
