"Hired to complete leaf removal and clean gutters. Quote was completed within a few hours of my request and my service was scheduled for a short few days later. Job was done efficiently and completed quicker than expected. I appreciated the extra service of removing leaves off of roof and carport that was not initially discussed in quote. Pricing was extremely reasonable and best quote received compared to other lawn care services in LR area. I will be using their services again!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Conway, fencing installation can be challenging on properties with steep slopes, irregular boundaries, or dense clusters of mature trees—especially in older neighborhoods or near the riverfront. Homes in historic districts may face unique setback requirements, and clay-heavy soil can make digging post holes more labor-intensive. If your property is in a flood-prone area, you may also need to consider special materials and drainage solutions before starting your fencing project.

Helpful?

When planning a fencing project in Conway, be aware of potential extra expenses like private utility locating, additional excavation for compacted clay soil, and property surveys if boundaries are unclear. You might also encounter costs for tree or stump removal in older neighborhoods, drainage improvements to handle heavy rainfall, and fees for specialty material delivery. Compliance with local setback rules can sometimes require adjustments that add to your project’s complexity.

Helpful?

In Conway, allowing sprinklers to soak your fence, neglecting to clear storm debris, or letting climbing plants grow unchecked can all reduce fence longevity. The region’s humidity can accelerate mold and rust, especially on shaded sections. Failing to maintain proper drainage around posts or using harsh lawn chemicals near the fence line can also cause premature wear. Regular inspections and prompt cleaning help extend your fence’s lifespan.

Helpful?

Your Conway home is ideal for fence installation if it sits on a level or gently sloping lot with well-defined property lines and good drainage. Newer subdivisions often offer these conditions, making projects smoother for fence contractors. Homes with clear utility markings and easy access for equipment are also strong candidates. Avoid starting projects on steep hillsides, flood-prone areas, or lots with dense tree lines that could complicate construction.

Helpful?

In Conway, consider scheduling fence installation during spring or fall, when the weather is mild and soil is easier to work with. If your fence has suffered from recent tornadoes or heavy storms—a common local issue—or if new construction nearby has affected your privacy, it’s a good time to act. Planning ahead can also help you avoid delays from permit backlogs during peak seasons.
