"Scott and his team did an excellent job on excavation and removal of dirt and clay, and graded property. Our property had a sloped backyard, that led to water retention at the base of our home. He removed the dirt and clay in a timely fashion, and built a 3-foot-high retaining wall 180 feet long. All of our concerns were addressed, and questions were answered throughout the project. He did an excellent job with cleanup and removal as well. We would not hesitate to use him for future projects if needed."

The difference between a lintel and a beam is what loads each is responsible for supporting. A lintel is a type of beam that is responsible only for supporting the load above an opening, such as a window or door, and transfers the weight to the side walls around an opening.
