We are specialists in residential and commercial structure repair. Our services include new construction, remodeling, and a wide variety of other repairs. We do not use subcontractors. Choosing a structure repair company is often not an easy task. While you may receive many different conclusions and opinions from different companies, you may be assured that the solution we submit will always be based upon a thorough analysis of your problem and will utilize the very latest in technology. At ASR, we value your trust and respect your opinion. We will thoroughly explain our plan, answer all of your questions, then we will allow you to be the judge with no obligation, no pressure, and no 8 o’clock Friday night phone calls. As complete structure professionals, we challenge ourselves to analyze and design a custom repair plan for your specific problem. We also inspect for any issues that can evolve into very expensive problems in the future. As a long standing member in this industry we have learned and developed techniques that produce the very best long term results for our customers. Our reputation for completing projects on time, with uncompromised quality while maintaining lower than average pricing has earned us respect throughout the industry. American Structure Repair was founded by several construction specialists that wanted to provide inexpensive home improvement services to the residents of Arkansas and other surrounding states. Due to our founders’ experience of working for larger corporations where larger profit margins were their overall mission, ASR decided to place the customers’ need for excellent customer service, workmanship, and budget constraints as the company’s main points of focus. Call us today to setup an appointment with one of our experts.

"We live in an older home, built in the 1940s, in which a second floor was added in the 1980s. We knew when we moved in three years ago that the piers and beams were not sufficient and would need work. I was very particular about hiring a contractor for this job because I wanted the job done correctly, thoroughly, and with attention to detail. I received bids from five different contractors, and joined them in the crawlspace during the inspections. American Structure performed the most thorough inspection of any of the contractors, and also did the best job of explaining their assessment and discussing different options for repair. The bid included a range of repair options to tailor a range of budgets, depending on how much we wanted to invest in the project. The American Structure bid was generally competitive in price with their competitors, but was more thorough and detailed. We opted initially for a more basic repair. The crew was prompt, friendly, very professional. They left the site cleaner than they found it. They even did some additional work not mentioned in the bid, such as shoring up and repairing a few existing piers, without additional cost. We were so pleased with the work by American Structure that we hired them to add additional piers and beams, a 10-mil vapor barrier, and a second crawlspace entrance. All together, American Structure added 19 piers, 60 feet of beams, a full 10-mil vapor barrier and a second crawlspace entrance. Now our floors are rock-solid and our crawlspace is nearly as clean and pretty as a room in the house. We’ve had a great experience with American Structure and highly recommend them."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

To bleed air from the pipes, start by turning off the main water supply. Then, starting with the faucet that’s closest to the water valve, open each of your faucets halfway, making sure to open both hot and cold options if they’re separate. This allows the air to escape the pipes. Once all faucets are open, turn your water supply back on and let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes until the faucets stop sputtering.

Yes, even a small dishwasher leak is a big deal. While it might seem minor, continuous unnoticed drips can lead to significant water damage to your kitchen floor, subfloor, and cabinetry. This damp environment is also a perfect breeding ground for mold, which can cause health issues and expensive mold remediation. Remember that water and electricity don't mix—having even a small leak poses a potential electrical hazard. Addressing any leak as soon as possible protects your home and avoids costly future repairs.

You can temporarily patch a leaking copper pipe using epoxy putty or adhesive tape. These are not permanent solutions, and you will eventually need to remove and replace the damaged portion of the pipe.

For a smaller pinhole, you can solder it closed using plumbing flux. Again, this is only a temporary solution, but it will give you time to hire a plumber and go over your options.

This rumbling noise after flushing may sound like a hammer or knocking inside the walls. When you flush, it opens a valve so additional water can come in. However, if the valve malfunctions, then this rush of water has nowhere to go, which makes all the excess water hit your pipes and create a loud hammering sound.

According to the EPA, there is no safe level of lead in the blood, and so the maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) for lead in water is zero. Even at low levels, lead is harmful to human health. It can also remain in the body and build up over time with repeated exposure.
