"Parrish was the first to respond in getting several large trees off of my mother's house. They removed the trees, cut them up, removed all of the debris. Great job. One stump was inadvertently left due to the high volume of storm damage in the area, and how busy they were, but they came back later and finished the job after already having been paid. To me, that suggests a high level of integrity. My mom is very happy with their service. Recommend highly."

"I put the job on Home advisor and got estimates from three companies. Adam with Trimco was the second and gave me a really great price. A1 tree service came out and cut his estimate by $50. I should have gone with TrimCo from the start but gave A1 the job. They showed up and wanted another $500-$1000 to do the job. I told the jerk get bent. And called Adam with Trimco back. He remembered me and his estimate made room in his schedule and came out and did the job. He was professional, and they did a fantastic job with a very difficult tree removal. They cleaned up all the mess they made... I can't say enough about how thankful I am for there work price and demeanor. If you need tree services and don't call TRIMCO you have problems a tree service can't help."

"This is a very experienced team of professional tree cutters. I was surprised at how they went about their business of removing my 5 trees. I could not have picked a better company. The clean up after the job was done surprised me. It's obvious they take a lot of pride in their profession and their company. I most definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree work done."

"Courteous, task oriented, worked safely, respected our property. Cut down a 50 plus foot lightning struck pine and several large limbs over the driveway. Took extra time to shape the area over the driveway. Will definately hire them again for future tree removal."

Small jobs welcome

"Very professional and efficient. Took down 2, 40ft tall diseased pine trees that posed imminent harm to my home. They cleaned up all debris and removed the trees in a timely manner. Throughout the process they let me know what they were doing and what and when they would complete the job. I would 💯 percent refer them for your project."

"George with Strickland Landscaping and Irrigation was extremely easy to work with and accommodating for my project. They did a great job forming handicap ramps for the front and side door of my business, in addition to placing the bollards and a little concrete work on the inside of the building. I look forward to working with them on additional projects in the future."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to overwater a newly-planted tree. Daily watering is great for the first few weeks, but it’s important not to go overboard. Excessive watering can lead to various problems, including root rot, fungal diseases, and a lack of root development.

To maintain trees on a commercial property, perform regular pruning, monitor for diseases, and apply fertilization to promote healthy growth. It is also important to remove any hazardous branches to keep the trees healthy and prevent potential liability issues.

Generally, homeowners do not need permission to cut down a tree on their own private property, but there are several exceptions where a permit may be required. You might need a permit if the tree is particularly large, old, or a protected species, such as a heritage tree. Trees located near public property or power lines can also be subject to special rules. Additionally, many local governments and homeowners associations (HOAs) have regulations controlling which trees can be removed to manage an area's appearance or prevent the spread of invasive species. To avoid hefty fines, it is crucial to check with your local government and HOA to determine if a permit is needed before you begin.

Most plum trees are pruned into a vase or open wine glass shape. They’ll have a shorter central leader (the trunk) that supports three to four main branches. Of course, this isn't always the case. If you have a European plum tree, you can grow it in a pyramid shape. Let the central leader extend the length of the tree and prune smaller branches to create the pyramid.

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.
