"Timber Wolf can out and removed three large trees from my property. They were one of the best quotes I received and their owner Tyler was a true professional. They arrived on time and worked hard in the heat. They took care of everything and made sure to respect my property. I would highly recommend Timber Wolf for any tree service."

"ACE Tree Service is the absolute best. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone. First Zach came to give me the quote the same day I called. He was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. He gave me a very fair price so I signed up to have them do the work. A few days or so later, Tim and his crew came to cut the beast and other things. They did a beautiful job. Cutting down my granddaddy pine tree, trimming another tree and cutting smaller ones. Cleaned my yard very well. Today, in less than 24 hours of being cut down the pickup crew arrived to carry off the debris. They too did a spectacular job. No trace of the trees and branches. Iâ m very impressed with the quality job they have done."

"Very knowledgeable regarding tree types and characteristics. Would of liked to know a bit more about where we were as the day progressed. Some of the hardest working folks I've ever seen. Great clean up. I'll be asking them back for more work."

"Outstanding Work – True Professionals! I hired Strategic Land Management LLC through HomeAdvisor and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From the very first contact, the team was responsive, courteous, and clearly experienced. They took the time to assess my property thoroughly and provided a detailed plan that addressed everything I needed. Their work was efficient, clean, and incredibly well done. They handled some pretty tricky tree removals and land clearing with skill and care, making sure everything was done safely and to a high standard. I really appreciated how they kept me in the loop every step of the way—no surprises, just great communication and honest work. It’s hard to find companies these days that combine quality craftsmanship with great customer service, but Strategic Land Management LLC does both. I highly recommend them for any land or tree work. This is a team that truly earns your trust and delivers on their promises!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

In general, trees should be planted no closer than 15 to 20 feet from your foundation. For larger trees with far-reaching roots like maples, oaks, or poplars, a good guide is to plant as many feet from your home as the tree’s height is expected to reach at maturity. Some trees, like elms and willows, should only be planted far from where their roots may encounter sewer or water lines.

Palm trees will not regrow from a stump once the tree has been cut down. This type of tree is unique because the root and stump system will slowly decay after the tree is gone, unlike other species that can regrow. That’s why it’s preferable to remove dead or decaying palm tree stumps quickly as they can become an eyesore and don’t offer future growing potential.

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.

The cost of trees varies massively based on the size of the tree and the species. A small Colorado spruce can cost as little as $30, but a golden rain tree of the same size can cost $90. Large trees can cost $1,500 or more, depending on their species and height.

Your local government is usually in charge of pruning trees on public property, and the power company is responsible for trees near power lines (even if they’re on your property). Whether or not they top these trees depends on their approach to pruning. You won’t be able to do much to control this, but you can contact them to find out more about their pruning process.
