"I have been using Kamron for many years for various things around my house. He’s my first phone call when something breaks or I need something done. From hanging multiple shelves, to installing dog doors, to rewiring my water heater, he’s the best choice"

"This small company does outstanding work. The skill level of owner Jeff Chevillet and his assistant Eddie when caulking and painting with trim brushes and rollers was outstanding and the quality of latex paint used was the best. They worked quickly and efficiently with little or no mess, used razor blades to remove any paint on windows and thoroughly cleaned up after the work was complete. They showed up on time and did what they said that they would do. The exterior repairs using 1 x 6, 2 x 6 and hardipanel was quality work done quickly. I highly recommend this company for like work."

"Had a bent over mailbox from someone backing into it with their car. It was bent over in the ground at almost a 45 degree angle. He was first to call within minutes of me submitting a request for someone through Angi’s list. He came right over and bent it back straight for me with his tools and it looked good as new! He tightened the screws in my mailbox too which he noticed were loose. Highly recommend this professional!"

Windows questions, answered by experts

One of the best professional cleaning solutions that won’t leave streaks is one gallon of distilled or bottled water mixed with 2 to 4 teaspoons of dish soap. Apply using a sponge in a figure-eight motion, and then use a squeegee to remove the majority of the water and soap. You can finish drying with a piece of old black-and-white newspaper to remove any residue for a streak-free clean every time.

Soundproof windows can be energy efficient, depending on the window type and manufacturer. Overall, triple-pane windows are more energy efficient than double-pane windows. However, according to the U.S. Department of Energy, a window’s energy-efficiency level is determined by multiple factors, including the frame material, if there’s any low-emissivity (low-E) glass, and the addition of spacers.

Glazing is always done from the outside of the window, while the inside doesn’t require any glazing. This is because the main purpose of glazing is to create a weather-tight seal where the glass meets the frame, protecting against drafts and moisture. Since the exterior is exposed to the elements, that’s the side that needs the weatherproofing.

ENERGY STAR®-certified windows are the most energy-efficient windows on the market. This certification means that the window meets strict efficiency guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. While they might cost more upfront, they can save you money on your energy bills in the long run. ENERGY STAR®-certified windows lower household energy bills by an average of 12% annually.

Replacing window glass instead of the entire window is more cost-effective, maintains the frame's aesthetics, and reduces waste. It improves insulation and energy efficiency and can be completed more quickly with minimal disruption to the home.
