He quickly and efficiently discovered what the issue was with the electricity, after initially checking the fuse box to ensure all was in order there. After I told him I had been cleaning the ceiling light/fan in the master suite, Derek disassembled that system and found a wiring issue, which he quickly corrected. Apparently when the ceiling light/fan was installed some years ago, it was not done properly and the wiring was such that it could have started an electrical fire at some point. So I was grateful that Derek had found the issue which could have been a safety concern. He was very professional and informative in explaining everything to me, and also showed me some additional pointers about the fuse box and my electric systems. "
