When squirrels began gnawing on my fascia, they made certain to let me know before the damage became severe. When I had bats in my belfry, they gently chased away the creatures and hardened my house so that the bats would not return. When I asked for a bond in addition to termite protection, they supplied. When my house proved to be more prone to bug infestations than expected (two creeks border my property), they were flexible enough to adjust to my particular needs. When I texted a picture of a particularly large and unfamilliar bug that surprised me in my shower, they came immediately. During a particularly heavy rain, I turned on the porch light to see beady little eyes staring back at me from atop a storage chest; Scout put out rat control measures the next day. I had emailed with questions about the job and no one emailed me back. After a week or two I contacted the company (APS) and was told the salesman had not shown back up for work, but no one at APS had bothered to let me know what was going on. I was told that if we wanted to cancel our contract, we would receive a refund. After many weeks, we received a check for only 1/2 of our deposit. I couldn't believe that under circumstances, beyond our control, APS would not try to make it right and issue a full refund for our deposit.
