"Subcontractors were mostly good, but management of them was lacking. I had to personally supervise them because the on site contractor rarely stayed very long. Told the trim finish crew to leave because they did not know how to install crown molding. Got another crew that knew what they were doing. They never asked for periodic payments during the job (as is typical); presented one huge bill at the end. Holland homes builds nice homes, but I would not recommend them for small jobs like mine because you do not get the best crews and you have to wait for them to fit you into their schedule."

"I am a handicapped senior citizen. Glass sliding patio door installation is the worst anyone has seen. Installed over rotten door frame, not installed for finishing interior sheetrock, leaks, glass door not on track and won't open all the way, screen door falls off, missing latch parts, track pieces falling off.....tons of pics to be posted later."

Before applying paint to exterior surfaces, filling any cracks or gaps with caulk is essential. Sealing them with a combination of caulk and paint prevents moisture from damaging the paint or decaying the underlying material. It's recommended to use specialized mold cleaners or natural alternatives that are safe for your specific siding material as a part of your regular siding maintenance. 

A quality paint job on aluminum siding can last five to 10 years, depending on the climate, the paint quality, and how well the surface was prepared before painting. Regular maintenance, like cleaning and occasional touch-ups, can help extend the life of the paint.
