We Chunk JunkI loved my experience with we chunk junk. They showed up on time and called me 30 MIN prior to their arrival. All the guys were clean cut and well mannered. They went above and beyond for me. Customer service = EXCEPTIONAL! They got rid of junk that I have been trying to get rid of for years!! You can tell the owner takes pride in his company! He even showed up to help workers with the job at my home and that is something you do not see often. If there is a disposal service in heaven it would be called WE CHUNK JUNK! I will definitely be using their services again in the future. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their work ethic and customer service I cannot reiterate that enough!- Shaza R.

Cecil Sigman Tree Service and LandscapeFor 8 years, I had attempted to maintain the holly and other bushes/trees in my yard, slowly losing ground over time from "well-shaped" to "make sure they're at least presentable". 2020 hit, and I was having trouble finding the energy to even make them presentable. Even when I did find the energy, the cleanup after would always prove to be an absolute nightmare. Cecil came by and provided us with a very reasonable quote for the work involved and when we called back to accept he was out the very next day to begin work. He was courteous and professional the entire time and displayed a unique talent for viewing the project beyond the minimal scope to see the artistic possibilities. When weather impacted his ability to complete the work in a single day (through no fault of his own) he was quick to apologize and offered several different options for accommodating the changing situation. Throughout this process, he was attentive to the mess that the trimmings posed to the appearance of the yard and routinely cleared these to a designated area for disposal. I would wholeheartedly endorse Cecil's service for anyone needing landscaping work of this variety.- Virginia S.

Crawlspace DoctorThe Crawlspace Doctor performed all of the work per the contract. Because my crawlspace was quite irregular, I opted to have them hand level the space which require a full day to complete. The encapsulation procedure is extremely labor intensive. Their crew worked very hard for four days to complete the task. They were supervised most all of the time by the owner or his partner. All of the debris was quickly hauled to the dump. Encapsulation certainly isn't cheap to have this done but you definitely get what you pay for. I had several quotes and their price was pretty much in the middle of the range. I them based upon their practical approach to the job, their experience and they use a single crew supervised by the owner. After completion of the job the owner took me through the crawlspace to explain everything that was done. The workmanship was very impressive. Since the encapsulation, the musty smells are gone. It has been quite a revelation to me. I am not particularly allergic to anything but my wife and daughter are an they've been sneezing a whole lot less.- Jay M.

Green Matters LandscapingDaniel apologized for and resolved the previous communication mishap. Daniel and his team came out did a fantastic job. They cleaned up the front flower beds: removed leaves, and debris, trimmed and pruned shrubs and bushes, weeded. He ensured even the smallest details were taken care of with the pruning and clean-up. Daniel is very detail oriented and knowledgeable. He and his entire team were courteous and respectful; very professional. The best experience I have ever had with landscaper Daniel recommended some next steps regarding a backyard project. He was very cost conscious and recommended a phased approached. We will be using Green Matters Landscaping over the coming months to complete our backyard project. Highly recommend that you use Daniel and his team for your landscaping needs.- Brian F.

Wow. Couldn't have been worse. Accepted the 3-day flexible time period, but was told they'd be able to tell me the day the move would occur. I was informed it would occur, took the day off of work, and traveled to my old home. Waited 6+ hours with some phone calls along the way saying the mover was in traffic etc. At the end of the day I finally spoke with the driver who said he'd been waiting for 9 hours for someone to give him a check so he could do the job before mine. He told me to be there the next morning 8am. I told him 10. I had to take another day off of work and commute the hour+ each direction. He arrived and said "oh, there are stairs, that's another $75". I'd informed APT that I had 20 stairs and refused to pay. For the rest of the day my phone was ringing regularly with calls from APT saying I should pay the guy and we'd work it out after. I stopped answering my calls and did not pay. APT insists that you use 2 USPS money orders for jobs. I got them the night before, and because I did not want to carry around large blank checks I filled in APT's name. When the mover arrived he told me that it had to be made out to his company's name. It took over an hour to work that out - I had to purchase new money orders from the post office and later cashed in the old ones for one that was made out to myself. When APT's "quality assurance" person had called me before the move, the cost went up about $500 because he added things like bubble wrap and special packing for certain pieces of furniture that could not have anything stacked on top of them. There was no bubble wrap used and the furniture was set up on their sides so the more fragile surfaces were no issue and things could be stacked on them. I left before the truck and figured I'd arrive at my new home first since it would take a while for the guys to get the large truck out of my small street. I was about 20 minutes from my new house and got a call saying they were waiting outside the house. I told them there was nothing I could do and I"d be there asap. I was told I'd be charged extra for their time. I arrived and they were not there. I called and they said that they went to the correct address in the wrong city. They didn't show for another hour and a half. They guy said "This is the second time this happened to me in New Jersey". The guys worked hard and I appreciated that, but it was incredibly poorly coordinated and taking two days off of work cost me and additional $400 more than I was already having to spend. Thankfully everything arrived safely - the only reason I'm giving them two stars. The movers, despite all of the miscommunications and other issues, moved things professionally. But I would never recommend this company to anyone. Poor communication, extra charges at every turn (I refused to pay the extra $75. The mover said he'd probably never recoup it from APT. It was APT's fault. I clearly told them that there were 20 stairs with no turn. Someone didn't record that). I don't believe this company should be represented here on Angi's. I expected so much more. Very, very disappointed, frustrated and angry. Moving is stressful enough. This was ridiculous.
