They are the most irresponsible, distrustful and EXPENSIVE moving service there is. First, when you get a quote and sign an agreement for a long distance moving they tell you the payment is in two parts, one when they leave the container for loading, and the second once they deliver your goods. What they don't tell you is that whenever the container with the goods lands in their regional storage facilities (for they own logistics) you get charged additional $219, WHICH ARE NOT LISTED IN THE QUOTES OR SERVICE AGREEMENTS. In my case they are charging 219$ twice, one for the storage facility in the city of departure and then again for their regional storage facilities in the state of destination. Hey Zippy shell! if using your storage facilities is part of your process in long distance moving you must include it in your quotes and agreements, if you fail to do it your a hiding fees, making misleading advertisement, and utterly SCAMMMING people. Second, THEY DO NOT DELIVER ON TIME. They advertise themselves telling you they deliver within 10 working days after picking up the container. This is a lie, I hired they services on 08/09, they left the container for loading on 08/19, today is 09/19 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY GOODS, not only that I still not have information of when the delivery will occur they are already trying to charge the second payment on my credit card. That is right they are trying to claim the complete payment without even completing the service after s month of delay. They are a complete mess. This is my sad story for you to have an idea of how bad it is. Apparently they sent a container meant for in-state moving, even if they had the departure and out-of-state delivery addresses from day one. Then they called me to ask for my permission for them to transfer my goods from one container to another suited for long distance moving, which I reluctantly agreed. I spent a lot of time and care to filled that container with my goods, only to be now handled by a third party. Then I get a call from a third party moving company asking for access for Zippy Shell storage facilities, it turns out some incompetent in Zippy Shell gave the people responsible for the container-to-container transfer my contact information and not the contacts of the storage facility. In consequence the transfer did not occur that day, but I was assured it was only a small delay and my goods were to be delivered on 09/07. Of course that did not happen, my goods were left untouched for two weeks until after several angry calls and emails. However, I am still waiting for my stuff while Zippy Shell is trying to collect the full payment. RAT PACK and ZIPPY SHELL are a disgrace, if I could give them negative stars I would."
