"I highly recommend Molinas Tree Service! They are an amazing team of friendly, professional, efficient and hard working individuals. They were quick to respond to my call for an estimate on removing a huge pine tree and arrived early on the day of removal. Clean up was good. The cost was very reasonable. If you are looking for a company you can trust to get the job done well, in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost, call Molinas!!"

"I received the contact information of K & C Tree Service thru Angieâ s List. Emanual was prompt to reach out and provided a realistic and fair estimate. I am always sad to see a tree being removed but after consulting an arborist, the tree started to deteriorate fast and would fall right onto the house. The tree was surrounded by many healthy trees. To project the healthy trees, Emanual and team tied each branch and piece with a rope and dismantled the tree piece by piece. They are safety oriented, right-on time, professional, carefully removed all branches and wood logs and hauled the wood away. I highly recommend this team! I certainly will go back to this team if needed."

"I was very impressed with the work. They are a crew of go-getters. They arrive early in the morning and immediately got busy. They took down 4 fairly large trees and did all the clean up in a day and 1/2. The price was very reasonable and they were careful with the property around the task at hand. I will definitely use them again."

"They did a great job! Edging, weeds and uniform cut. Fairly quick, without cutting corners on job, so not rushed either, just very efficient. So pleased, arranged to have them do all yard work bi-weekly."

I’ve been doing tree and skid steer work for about 20 years, customer satisfaction is my goal. The job is not complete until you, the customer, are happy. I am a perfectionist, I like and want stuff done right! I am willing to travel almost anywhere within the state. I am highly efficient in a skid steer and working out of a bucket truck..

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Burning a tree stump can be effective, but it comes with safety considerations and isn’t always best for every situation. It's essential to check local regulations and assess the safety risks involved. Stumps that are near wooden structures or other non-moveable flammable objects aren’t good candidates for burning due to the risk of the fire spreading. Alternatives like grinding or a DIY stump rotting project might be safer and quicker for getting the job done.

There are a few instances in which removing a tree is the best option. You might do this if the tree looks to be a major danger—potentially falling onto your home, your car, or other parts of your property—or it’s diseased beyond repair. A tree that is growing too close to your house might need to be removed to prevent mold growth.

Only trim palm trees as needed, which is usually about once per year. However, don't stick to that schedule if the palm tree doesn't need it. Avoid trimming palm trees when possible. It’s best to trim palm trees only when you notice a buildup of dead fronds. That said, leave the brown fronds during the dormant season because this organic matter helps protect the tree from the cooler weather.

While trees can grow in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street, this placement often poses the problem of interfering with overhead power lines. It’s best to consult your local utility provider and tree planting service before transplanting a tree that might grow into power lines. Also, you should never work within 20 feet of a live power line to avoid the risk of electric shock. Tree branches should never touch nearby power lines, so it’s essential to ensure your tree isn’t in danger of growing too close to them.

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.
