"They provided a very well worded and complete estimate. Their price was not the lowest but fair and the professionalism caused us to feel more comfortable with them. We chose all the colors and provided those prior to the job beginning. The crew arrived exactly when they were expected, completely prepared and neat. On the 2nd morning of the job, my wife was stopped by the crew leader. He showed my wife the catalog of stain colors and said he thought our choice for the deck was too dark. He showed a lighter brown and asked her to allow him to go with the lighter color. My wife at first said she wanted to stick with the darker one because it matched the trim and gutters. The foreman was rather insistent and said that he thought she would regret it and that changing away from the darker one would be difficult. By this point my wife was running late for work so she agreed to his suggestion. When we got home that afternoon the crew was finished and the job looked GREAT! Everything was cleaned up well and we loved it. The deck, unfortunately didn't look right. There was a slight purple tint in the brown. We found a couple of small areas that needed touch up and The Painting Company was very responsive to those requests. They sent someone out quickly to let us point out the issues. They were all corrected. At the same time we pointed out that we were not pleased with the color of the deck. The person who was with us questioned why we didn't like it. He pointed out that we had signed off on the color. He also said that, in his opinion, it looked great. We still saw it as a purple and brown mix that we didn't like. He asked us to give it a chance to grow on us. It never did and after a few months we painted it again ourselves. Overall we loved working with The Painting Company. We will use them again, but next time we will stick with our color choices.

In addition, they replaced all the screens and stripping on the screened porch and did little extras like replacing the exterior spotlights on the corners (since they were burned out) while they were up there. "good experience overall. they started early everyday and left the area clean whe they left. they were very friendly and polite. the only problem was related to our deck. the very last thing they did before the left was washed and seal our deck. they covered the plants and the patio before they sprayed on the sealer which was great but the overspray got on the windows. i ended up washing the windows, but they needed it anyway! we would still recommed them because they did a great job on the house."
