"Fantastic company. They did complete exterior painting, including staining large deck, metal railings, and complete refinishing of front door. They are committed to getting things right and are consummate professionals. I can't recommend highly enough. Our neighbors saw their work and hired them on the spot. Great company and we're very pleased with the results."

"The crew that did the work showed up in a timely fashion and did an exceptional job in painting our house and re-staining the deck. In addition, they replaced all the screens and stripping on the screened porch and did little extras like replacing the exterior spotlights on the corners (since they were burned out) while they were up there. The salesman (Donnie Kuba) has an extensive knowledge of the business and was willing to work with us every step of the way. I have him in my phone contacts and will share with any friend or neighbor looking to do similar projects...."

"Being from out of town I knew nothing about them. After talking on the phone with the owner he quoted me price and said he could start immediately after closing on my new home. He did. Great crew and great job. Over and above my expectations. Finished on time even after I added work. Harry is a man of his word. I will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reputable painting company."

"Pigment Painting is a gold-star company in my book. I initially hired them to paint about half of the interior of my 4,000-square-foot house, but they did such a great job, I added most of the rest of the house to the project. That included a lot of white woodwork. Owner R. Daniel Lee and his crew (Pancho and Jeff) were punctual; precise in their prep, painting, and cleanup; and were professional but also nice to work with throughout the 6 1/2 days of this massive job. When I had to call Daniel back to do a picture rail that was overlooked by all of us, he responded immediately. I wish I could take them to my new house 2500 miles away."

"Good job on our project! Arrived on time ready to work. The owner even stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with the work! Based on this experience, we will be using Syntreme again for some future projects."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Limewash and whitewash do not harm surfaces if you apply them correctly. Use on non-suitable surfaces can cause issues. For instance, applying limewash or whitewash to surfaces with existing sealants or incompatible materials may lead to poor adhesion or flaking. Also, harsh cleaning agents on limewashed or whitewashed surfaces can damage the finish. Proper preparation, application, and maintenance ensure that limewash and whitewash do not harm surfaces.

You have a couple of options when choosing a durable pool deck coating. Epoxy is common and offers excellent stain and water resistance. Epoxy also withstands high temperatures and UV lighting, making it ideal for sunny spots. You can also add a coating to cement, which significantly lowers the temperature of the concrete, is environmentally safe, and makes cleanup a breeze.

Applying too much sealer to a deck might seem like extra protection, but it can cause more harm than good. Wood is a porous material with a limited capacity to absorb liquids. When you go overboard with sealer, the excess can't soak in and instead forms a film on the surface. This leftover layer is prone to peeling, cracking, and trapping moisture, ultimately defeating the purpose of sealing in the first place.

The staining or painting process involves cleaning the deck, sanding surfaces, applying a primer (if needed), and carefully applying stain or paint for an even, lasting finish.

Yes, many repair services include repainting to match the color of the existing siding or walls. Most professionals offer this service to ensure the repaired area blends in seamlessly.
