"Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "I am incredibly grateful for the fantastic service Corey Harris provided in the way he addressed my chronic flooding issue. My husband and I purchased a new home about eight years. During that time, we discovered a hidden creek in our backyard. The creek received water from several neighbors' located behind us on an hill. After a storm or heavy rain, the creek would crest. This caused an enormous amount of water to run through our backyard, into our driveway, cross the street, enter our neighbors' driveway, and into their backyard. The water resulted in large holes forming in the street and flooding. Because of Corey's excellent analytical skills, he was able to offer his assistance. We had several lengthy discussions which focused on the best approach without spending a fortune. Corey explained everything clearly and gave many options, as well as explanations of each. Corey showed enthusiasm. He was professional, personable, and a fast pace worker. He also exhanged thoughts and opinions with neighbors impacted by the flood. My neighbors and I can't thank Corey enough for going beyond expectations. Job well done."

"The very best contractor I have ever worked with. He and his company came to repair a large pothole in my asphalt driveway. He also repaired another that had been repaired before but sunk in. His price was very reasonable. Very personable, worked hard. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. They did an excellent job. I have had other asphalt contractors ever since I put in this asphalt driveway. None have ever done the great job this company did. I will call them every time I need something done to this driveway. Can't rave about them enough. And NO I am not related. Found them on Angi and could not be more happy. GREAT JOB!!!"

"Driveway and drainage system addition went very well. All work was performed satisfactorily at the agreed price. This project was done during Covid, which did have some delays that were unavoidable. Mateo and his team are very professional, and I would hire them again. In fact I already have."

"I had a brick mailbox that was knocked down and needed to be repaired and put back in place. The men were courteous, professional and did an excellent job in repairing the mailbox. They cleaned up the area before they left. The price was reasonable for the work that needed to be done. I highly recommend this company!"

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.

Driveway aprons typically range between four and seven inches thick, though your town's building codes will likely have specific requirements. Additionally, you may need to add a layer of permeable aggregate in the excavation below your paved apron to ensure proper stormwater drainage.

While paving a driveway is possible to do as a DIY project, we don’t recommend it. Hiring a driveway professional to pave it will ensure that your driveway looks neat and clean and lasts for years to come, and it will also prevent a weak driveway and, potentially, damage to your foundation. Paving a driveway requires heavy machinery, and while you can rent the equipment needed, operating it close to your garage slab or around your home’s foundation can crack it and lead to structural issues.

Asphalt and tarmac are not the same thing. Traditional tarmac, short for tarmacadam, uses tar as a binder to hold crushed stone together. Asphalt uses bitumen—a byproduct of crude oil—to bind aggregate. Though tarmac was once a go-to for roads, asphalt has become the modern standard. And these days, most surfaces referred to as “tarmac” are actually asphalt. So, while the names may overlap, the key distinction lies in the binder—tar for tarmac and bitumen for asphalt.

Driveways should be sloped with a minimum 2% slope—anything lower will cause precipitation and runoff to collect. A 2% slope is the equivalent of a 2-foot rise over 100 feet. One quick way to check the integrity of your driveway’s slope: no more than four inches of water should collect on the surface longer than 15 minutes after rain.
