Shoals MPE Services is comprised of 3 respected Florence companies, that all originally started in 1973. We can take care of a variety of services including heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical work. Our family-operated business is able to provide quality workmanship for residential, commercial and light industrial clients.

"I was given a quote by MPE(Brock) to replace a hot water heater that I supplied. The quote was given to me as 170.00 total. They came to the house and replaced the water heater in a little over a hour and charged me 614.00. This company installed my AC units in the past but after this they will not be back. That is way to much just for labor and a few pvc parts to install the heater and basically lied to. Lesson learned on my part but customer lost on theirs."

Earthquake gas shut-off valves, or seismic gas shut-off valves, are safety devices that attach to your natural gas line. When an earthquake hits, the valve automatically turns off the flow of gas. Earthquake gas shut-off valves can prevent gas leaks, which are especially dangerous after a quake due to the risk of fire and explosion.

Shut-off valves, like any other piece of metal hardware, can corrode, age, get worn down, and eventually break or rust into place. Occasionally spray your shut-off valve with WD-40 to stall it from rusting. If it really gets stuck, a wrench and WD-40 will usually do the trick, but you will need to call a plumber if it’s completely unmovable.
