Cannon is committed to excellence in every aspect of our business. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality of service we bring to our customers. Accurate knowledge of our trade combined with ability is what makes us true professionals. Above all, we are watchful of our customers interests, and make their concerns the basis of our business.

"Avoid! Cannon Pricket is not reliable or honest. After nine months of having our $10k deposit, he did not complete our barn project. We are still waiting to receive the remainder ($3000) of our deposit back after cancelling due to his lack of communication and zero reliability. It is a shame some men cannot be taking at their word anymore!"

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

No, builders and general contractors don’t expect tips. In fact, some companies may prohibit their employees from accepting client tips. If you want to show gratitude for a job well done, consider writing a review of your builder or contractor or agreeing to be a reference for potential new customers.

While the primary purpose of a garage may be to create a secure, weatherproof space to park your vehicles, there are other reasons to consider building one. A garage can increase your home’s value, for one thing.

Having a garage also gives you a bit of extra storage and possibly living space. You can build a two-story garage and use the upper area as a rec room or lounge space. If you finish the second floor of the garage, you may even be able to rent it out.

A garage bump-out is a small addition that extends the size of the garage, usually by just a few feet. Homeowners might install bump-outs to store lawn equipment, sporting gear, holiday decorations, and more. Because you’re not changing the existing garage structure as much, a bump-out isn’t as expensive or labor intensive as a full-blown garage extension. Expect to pay around $1,800–$6,000 for 2-by-10-foot bump-out (and more for larger additions).

The national average cost of a building permit is about $1,600, but this number includes extensive renovations. Homeowners typically spend between $150 and $2,000 in general on one or multiple permits for their project. Conversely, permits for simple projects, such as minor electrical renovations, could cost as little as $10.

Ranch and colonial-style homes are often the most affordable to build. They have a common layout with available designs that are easy to adjust in simple ways without having to spend too much on a structural engineer or architect. Both types of homes' symmetry, simple roofs, and often one or two-story plans mean they often fall in the $150 to $200 square-foot range, putting them right around average.
