"Louis came to our Pensacola vacation home and provided design and landscaping plans.  He's very creative, can visualize the finished product and is talented at selling his ideas to the homeowner.  He produced a project plan under budget but overran by 20% due to yard infrastructure (sprinkler and well pump system).  His team made a big mistake uprooting some plants that we agreed would stay and he replaced them without any issue.
Palm Source has followed up with us after the installation and stands behind their landscaping products and design.

"The receptionist was extremely helpful and when I explained the situation, she understood the emergency I had and worked to get someone to me as quickly as possible. The electricians showed up right after 5 and did a great job in identifying to issue and resolving it. John Sherman went above what I would have expected. I will use them again!!"

"Very professional, quick response, even advised on a few things we were doing ourselves. Assisted after the work was done, and much more affordable than Lowe s on lighting install."

"Fantastic. Mr Dan Parks is the best contractor I have ever hired. He is hands on and does the work himself with his trusted skilled workers. We had a basic 3 foot cube for a shower. He built a complete new 6 foot long double shower with a bench seat. All new floor to ceiling porcelain tile, with rain forest spray. New Granite counter top, back splash and shower bench seat. Beautiful job! Clean, quick, organized and far under bid competitors. Dan Parks is a great guy and a former major and minor league baseball player. He does it all and I won't use anyone else!"

"Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and on time--they did a visit to see what the project entailed, then came back with parts to do the job. Steve explained everything to me and offered a couple of options to connect power. I will definitely call him first when I have the next project and would recommend his company to anyone needing electrical help."

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

While most general electricians can repair lamps and light fixtures, it is often better to hire a lamp repair specialist. Many electricians prefer larger jobs, such as fixing electrical systems or relocating fixtures, and may not offer lamp repair services due to the small scale of the work. Additionally, some lamps, particularly antique models, require dedicated expertise that a general electrician might not have. A lamp repair specialist will be familiar with various types of fixtures and can provide a more dedicated service. If you have already hired an electrician for a larger project, you can ask them to look at your lamp, but for a standalone repair, a specialist is typically the best option.

The majority of potential burglars are amateurs looking to make a quick buck after breaking and entering. By installing motion-sensor lights, alarm systems, and security cameras, throughout the home, there’s a good chance you will deter crime on your property.

Professionals enhance safety by addressing structural issues, securing loose components, and using non-toxic materials. They ensure compliance with building codes and conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards. Their expertise minimizes risks, making the home safer during and after repairs.

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.
