"I am extremely impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They took time to make sure our floors and countertops were protected, communicated well on schedule, showed up on time, were very respectful, and made sure the tile and grout details were perfect. I have already made plans for more work. They are definitely a great company and a great find in the tiling business."

"Jason was kind enough to come at a decent hour to start to work.. Most service people come so early, you barely have time to have a cup of coffee and get your meds down. Jason did a fantastic job. He cleaned our floors and grout then sealed the grout. We were so glad to get this done before the holidays. Jason cleaned my grandsonâ s sofa, loveseat and over size chair. When he finished, it looked brand new. Very professional and the projects were expertly completed. I will recommend him to my family and friends. Very satisfied customer."

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, such as vinegar or bleach, as they can erode grout and damage tile finishes over time. Use pH-neutral products designed for tile and grout cleaning to ensure longevity and safety.

Unlike sanded grout, unsanded grout doesn’t always require sealing. But it’s a good idea to seal it anyway—especially in moist or humid areas (like bathrooms) or high-traffic spots—to protect it from dirt, mold, stains, and damage. On average, hiring a pro to seal grout costs between $150 and $250 for a 160-square-foot space.

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

Your cat may pee in the house in spots where cats have previously left urine stains, so make sure to clean any pet urine stains thoroughly. Avoid using ammonia cleaners if you have cats, as the smell can also attract them to relieve themselves.

Besides feeling icky grit when walking barefoot in your home, not mopping the floors can create health risks. Pollen, dirt, dust, and overall filth lead to allergen, bacteria, and even mold buildup, polluting your home and creating an unhygienic environment. You also risk damaging the floors due to stains and scratches with neglect. Lastly, your home will become less inviting due to odors from the lack of cleaning.
