"Chris Lowry and Brett Jackson demolished my in-ground pool and did a very professional job from start to finish. They carefully took my fence down, and in my small backyard, they were careful getting large equipment down my driveway without damaging anything. The grading of my yard was very important to them so that my yard would let water drain properly in a rainstorm. My fence was reinstalled, and all debris was carried off. They even came back to put down grass seed, water the yard, and put down fertilizer. They were both very professional, courteous, and hard workers. Everything was done perfectly, and they charged me a very fair price. I would definitely recommend B and B Curb Appeal to anyone in need of swimming pool demolition."

"Hired them to clear brush around my fence. They were quick to respond with a fair quote and the work was completed the next day. Jake was prompt to finish the work while I was at work and sent me photos of the completed job. Awesome customer service! Hire them for any work outside and you won t be disappointed."

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

Several things can ruin a septic tank over time, including dumping harsh chemicals (like bleach and ammonia), pesticides, and paint thinners down your drain because they can kill the bacteria in your septic tank. You should also make sure to only flush waste and toilet paper in your toilet—otherwise, you could clog your system.

It only takes a few days for a septic tank to fill with water after a pro has pumped it. This is completely normal, and the water is a vital part of your septic system’s wastewater treatment process. The water that fills your tank days after pumping is not the same as the tank being filled with waste. You shouldn’t have to pump your septic system more than once every three to five years unless you have a tank that’s too small for your home’s water output or there’s a problem with your leach field.

You should pump your septic tank once every two to four years for a family of four, depending on your septic tank size. You should pump a 1,000-gallon septic tank every two years, while a 1,500-gallon tank should be pumped every four years. Water usage also affects how often you should pump your septic tank. If you notice slow drains, foul smells, or gurgling sounds from your drains, you should pump your septic tank as soon as possible.

Most homeowners know there’s a septic system problem when they can smell one. However, this isn’t exactly a scientific deduction method. Consider some of the other signs: standing water or constantly damp earth in the drainage area, toilets and sinks that won’t drain or frequently back up, and loud plumbing. You really need to be on top of routine maintenance with septic systems in order to avoid such unpleasant symptoms of a septic issue.

Needing to pump the tank as soon as it “looks” full is a common myth about septic systems, as wastewater will eventually drain into the leach field. Instead, it’s better to determine how many solids have accumulated. A septic maintenance technician near you can test this to find out whether pumping is necessary.
