"Within 6 months of having our fence installed, it looked horrible!! We were told the wood that was used was not totally dried and it has left us with large gaps between slats, almost every post is warped, at the corners the fence is pulling away from the posts, horizontal 2x4 supports are bowed and breaking and our gate doors are twisted. The bottom of the fence is rotting in places due to the boards being installed where they are touching the ground causing water to stand and not drain properly. No attempt was made by the owner to make this right. Our fence is very big and we paid a lot of money for it and now we are facing having to pay to have all of it redone. I would never recommend this company to anybody!!"

We are a Christian based company & take great pride in our work. Have been doing construction for more than 20 years & state licensed.

"Nothing but lies and poor quality. We are a year past our deadline and 50 grand over budget and he’s still asking for more money and can’t provide a completion date. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!"

Home Building questions, answered by experts

It’s typically more cost-effective to move a building along with its accessories than to demolish and rebuild it from scratch. However, that’s only if you can move the accessories without damaging them. However, if you plan to demolish the accessories anyway, it is advisable to do so before the move to save costs.

It is almost always more affordable to buy an existing home than to build one from scratch. First of all, new construction mortgage interest rates are often higher than traditional loans. Also, when building a home, you're covering the cost of brand-new finishes, appliances, electrics, plumbing, utility hookups, and labor. Between the cost of labor and permits, building a home will often cost more in the long run.

Complex plumbing is tricky and expensive in an off-the-ground dwelling like this. By considering options like composting toilets, rainwater collection, and gray-water sinks, you save money and help the environment.

Modular homes can be a great investment, especially for those who find the prices of stick-built real estate too high. Modular homes are usually much more affordable because they’re mass-manufactured and then assembled on-site or delivered mostly assembled. If they’re installed properly and by professionals, they can last for between 50 and 100 years, potentially making them an outstanding investment.

The requirement for building permits varies by location, but most building departments will require permits for any changes to the structural components of a home. They’ll also require them for changes to the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components, as well as any permanent improvements to the land, including concrete patios or foundations for additions or outbuildings. You also might need permits for things like roof replacement and window replacement, depending on your local government.
