To start I will come out to your home and do a free roof inspection, I will mark and take photos of any and all damage I find. My 15 years of installing roofs make me exceptional at inspections. Once I finish the inspection you will either get a clean bill of health or I will go over all the damage. you have, next I will sign you up and work with your insurance company to get you a new roof with it costing you nothing but your deductible. You won't even have to meet with your adjustor I will do that for you. I will handle the claim from start all the way until completion. Making sure that the Homeowner is 100% satisfied with the entire process.

Painting questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you have to sand crown molding before painting. This is due to the nature and design of molding. It’s not a flat wall, so uneven surfaces will be immediately noticeable once that paint dries. Sanding down the surface smooths everything out, leading to a satisfactory result. If the trim is already smooth, such as with new crown molding, you can give it a light sand with 120-grit sandpaper.

Painting a wall involves multiple steps. First, clean and sand the wall to prepare the surface, then tape off any areas where you don't want paint to go. Next, shake or stir the paint in the can, then pour it into a tray.

Dip a paintbrush into the paint can so that half of the bristles are coated. Use the brush to cut in or make a frame around the edges of the wall. Then, roll the paint roller in the tray, ensuring that it is evenly covered in paint. Roll the paint onto the wall in an "M" or "W" formation, making sure the paint is applied evenly.

Sanding a wood floor can be a lot of work, especially if the room is large. However, if you skip this step, the paint might not stick properly to the floor. Over time, your paint can peel or chip. Eventually, you may need to repaint the floor all over again. Save your time and money by sanding the floor the first time.

You should let your initial paint job dry at least 12 hours before opening the door. Check your work after 12 hours have passed to confirm there are no uneven patches, or signs of the old paint showing though—if you see any, we recommend applying a second coat of paint and waiting an additional 12 hours for it to dry.

Painting your countertops is a good idea if you want to spruce up your kitchen or bathroom without having to install brand-new counters. It's also cost-effective, and it's a project that most DIYers can take on. Since there are so many paint colors to choose from, you'll be able to easily customize your countertops to fit your home's aesthetic.
