My condo had been on the market for 3 months with only a couple of showings. The response after her work was done was immediate. It was a difficult sale, due to high dues, but the sale is now pending. Stacy did a beautiful job of staging and then coached me on how to present the condo when actual showings were scheduled.
She really enjoys her work and she is gifted at what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ak/anchorage/alaska-premier-home-staging-reviews-7973391.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"L K GENERAL CONSTRUCTION","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"AK","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Andrew K."},"reviewBody":"I shopped around for a reasonable contractor to perform several bank mandated repairs on a recent home purchase. The main projects were new siding on a large detached garage and a new foundation on part of the home. Most of the contractors heard the bank was involved and bids went sky high. LK General listened to what I was working with (a limited budget) and offered numerous options along the way. In addition, LK General allowed me to save money by performing some work myself... something most contractors hate. Even before I purchased the home (or selected a contractor) LK General provided the most time and detail of all the contractors; Spending several hours at my home walking though it helping me inspect it. They even contacted the company who drilled the well to get the soil analysis from 10 years ago. LK General provided me options for saving money as well as design suggestions for utility, function or simply aesthetics. In the planning phases, we had eliminated windows on one section of the project to save money. Once we stared building up however, they highly suggested I spend a little more and put in a few windows... What a difference it makes! Along the way they would also notice other deficiencies in the home and offer design suggestions for the future, or in several circumstances just repair it for me at no additional cost. For example, while the workers were installing siding high up on scaffolding, they noticed a roof vent was bent over from snow. They explained what I needed, and after I picked up the material at the store, installed it for me, saving me the hassle of getting 20 feet up on a ladder in the middle of winter to install it myself. I should add that the bank demanded the repairs be performed in the middle of winter. The greatest of challenges was defrosting the ground for the footings. On my limited budget, LK General proved it's experience and ingenuity with a novel system of heat tape and insulation that defrosted frozen ground 4 feet deep in a few days. Home Staging reviews from real Angi homeowners in Soldotna, AK
Good. One year out and no more leaks. Couple little details that I would have had them address if I'd noticed closer to when the job wrapped, but overall seems to be a solid roof job. There was quite a bit of rotten wood that had to be replaced and they did a great job with that. They were...
This is our second time bring Dave and son into our home for work and again they nailed it! We did a full remodel of a bathroom and it turned out so beautiful! There is a lot of uneven and sub-standard work that they had to work around to get things to be done right and look nice and we...

I met up with Justin (I think he's the owner) at their Seattle office get a feel how this company goes about staging their homes. I have a few rental properties along the I-5 corridor that I've wanted to put on the market, but haven't the slightest eye for design. I was blown away by Justin's...
We would highly recommend Mike for anyone in the process of buying a home. Mike is knowledgable, professional, thorough, and easy to work with. We accompanied Mike during the inspections (which he recommends). He made sure we understood what he was inspecting and explained any deficiencies...

We have an older home with lots of challenges when it comes to renovations and we try to keep that in mind. Nevertheless, not the level of professionalism we had hoped for. Very pleasant, but scheduling and punctuality not great.

FAQs for home staging projects in Soldotna, AK
Yes, staging a home really works and can help your home sell faster, potentially for a higher price than if you did not use a home staging service. According to the National Association of Realtors, 48% of seller’s agents reported home staging decreased a home’s time on the market.
Plus, 20% of buyer’s and seller’s agents claimed home staging increased home sale prices by 1% to 5%. Although decluttering and cleaning help a home sell, staging can take your home’s curb appeal to the next level, helping to expedite the process and increase your profit.
On average, home staging costs about $1,800, ranging from $150 to $5,000. The project cost of home staging depends on cost factors like home size, number of rooms staging, home occupation status, and its location. Keep in mind that you’ll need to budget for consultation fees ahead of staging day, ranging from $150 to $600.
Additional cost factors include:
Furniture rental
Staging fees
Rearranging and decluttering
Repairs and maintenance
Additional purchases to fill gaps in decor
The main factors to consider when staging your home when selling are your budget, number of rooms to stage, and how long to keep the staged setup. Since home staging costs about $600 per room when using professional services, you may want to only stage the rooms that are most important to potential buyers, including the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom. You should also consider which repairs or updates are necessary before staging your home, such as painting interior walls, carpet cleaning, and refinishing hardwood floors.
The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.
The services offered by home staging companies vary, but revolve around the purpose of setting up a house with aesthetic furniture and home decor to entice potential home buyers. Home stagers offer a wide range of services, and you can expect to pay for each additional one.
Some of the most common home staging services include:
Color design
Planning each room design
Rearranging furniture
Decluttering and organizing
Repairs to visible areas
Creating ambiance with lighting, artwork, accessories, and home decor
Choosing rental furniture items
