About us
Wolf Real Estate Professionals is a team of highly seasoned, skilled and well educated Realtors with over 30 years of experience in Alaska. Together we can accommodate your schedule and work diligently to sell your home or help you locate, negotiate, inspect and close on your new home! I was born in Palmer, AK which is about an hour north of Anchorage . My family owned a small farm and home business. Our home was close to the Knik River, a few miles from "The Butte" in the (semi)-famous farming community called the "Matanuska Valley" (home to world class cabbage and potatoes). My grandparents were dairy farmers from Wisconsin who had moved to the area in 1935 as homesteaders in a depression era land grant program to. I learned very early the basic values of starting early each day, planning and prioritizing the day to make the most of it, doing what you say you are going to do, and making every effort to finish the job each day before "calling it a day." The work ethic my parents and grandparents taught me have served me well in my real estate career. I am married to Kristi and have three children. A daughter, Corene Swisher, who is married to Brandon and lives in State College, Pennsylvania with her family of four children. My son, Ryan, lives in Portland, OR and is a a recent graduate of Portland State College. Our youngest son, Cody, is 14 years old and in the ninthth grade.. I began my career as a full time Realtor in Anchorage in 1983, (30 years ago!). I am consistently one of the top producing real estate agents in Anchorage , and have been in the top 1 percent of local real estate agents, in all price ranges, as far as number of housing units sold annually. My team and I commonly sell about 10 homes per month. I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and have completed specific classes to better assist buyers and sellers. In addition to working hard, I believe it's important to play. I have a wide range of hobbies including skeet shooting, Harley Davidson motorcycles, reading both fiction and non-fiction and photography. In addition, my son, Cody, and I like to geocache, both finding caches and hiding them for others to locate, when we have time for it. We mountain bike, traditional and fat-tire in the winter as well as downhill ski. We are a preferred broker for transferring ConocoPhilips people and have helped many move both into and out of Anchorage; Some of those people multiple times back and forth! We also help many employees of BP , Halliburton and Chevron. You can see by our resume that we are able to accommodate both buyers and sellers who need to get things done - and done right! I look forward to meeting you. Expect exceptional service!

"[Member Name Removed], you and [Member Name Removed] were great to work with! You had a good idea what you didn't want and that helped us focus on what we were looking for. You found a great property with "good bones" - once you do the things you want to personalize it and fix it up, it will really shine!"
The purchase of our new home was trying for us as it had been over 17 years since we had purchased a home and the sellers and agent were difficult at best. The Wolf team was extremely helpful working through the trials and tribulations of a difficult seller and sellers agent. We were kept up to date all along the way with great communication and they really did a fantastic job helping to keep our emotions at bay and walk us through the process as quickly as possible :)
The sale of out home was a different process obviously than purchasing but we were fortunate enough to have a full price offer within 48 hours of listing and were under contract shortly after. We are signed sealed and delivered, thank you Wolf Team!
They had many showings. Suggested things that could make it move a bit faster, make it more appealing.
I have known Dan for over 35 years and he is very honest, hard working and good at what he does. A good friend of mine in the banking
industry and I were talking and we both agreed that he would be the best one to use. My best friend also has used him in the past and he also recommended him.
Shanda did a great job of keeping me advised of everything that was happening and helped with great suggestions and put up with a cranky old guy. If I had contacted them earlier instead of trying to sell it on my own when the market was good, I believe it would have sold quicker and for more. That was my mistake.
I would say anyone that is looking to sell or buy would have a great experience using the Wolf Team.
On top of everything else they always showed up with a smile on their faces and got the job done.
calls promptly. Great marketing and advice.
Abigail was flexible with viewing times/dates and never made my crazy work schedule seem inconvenient to her. She was prompt in response to any calls or emails. Abigail answered our millions of questions patiently and really made us feel comfortable with the entire home buying process. It is clear that she has strong connections in the real estate field and that people enjoy working with her. What really stood out to me was her knack for helping us to figure out just what type of home and area would be the best fit for us, our personalities and lifestyle. She really listened to what we wanted and worked hard to make it happen. We were so happy with Abigail, I can't imagine having used a different agent!
Be fair, be reasonable and be patient.
I remodeled our place nicer then when we lived in it. I sent about 15,000 with bringing up to code, and remodeling.
The typical house in our subdivision went for avg 243,000. Our appraised at 262,900
However, you just do not go and pick a realtor, myou need to find out their history on sales and success.
I was fortunate, I ave watched An Wolf for years and he as always been in the lime light of real estate.
It's not the company reputation, it is the retaliatory that represents you!
