Charlie and Scott were superb. They did an excellent job, were friendly, on time, quick and efficient. They even followed up with me to give tips so the trees would not re-sprout. They gave a very competitive price and I would highly recommend them. They were very easy to communicate with and I would definitely hire them again

They responded quickly to the project request, i.e. trimming a number of branches overhanging my roof and shadowing my solar panels - They offered a good price and carried the work out efficiently and quickly - overall a very good experience and I would definitely hire them again!

I emailed Tree133 about the job April 29th. He called me later that day and we talked about the job I needed done. He said he could schedule me for May 9th. He asked more about the job and I told him this was one of the last requirements I had from the city planning department before they would issue permits. He said he would see if he could fit me in sooner than the 9th to expedite my process. Craig (business owner) called me May 3rd saying he had an opening May 4th. We scheduled for the 4th. He arrived on time and spent about 2 hours performing his inspection and writing his report. Craig was a pleasure to do business with. Very personable and professional. Answered all of my questions and told me to call him if there were any questions from the city planning department. Received a follow up card in the mail thanking me for selecting Tree133 for my needs. I was very impressed with the level of customer service as it was more than I am normally accustomed to. I don't know if I will be in need of a Consulting Arborist again but if I am I will definitely call Tree133

Alex and his crew were excellent. They worked quickly and efficiently, and friendly but professional. They were able to start our project the week after calling, so virtually zero wait time. We had 10 trees removed, including a large madrona that was leaning over the roads. We have wanted the madrona removed for 10 years, but other companies balk and want to charge too much. Alex had complete confidence in his crew's ability. His estimate was very reasonable and definitely someone I'll be recommending over and over

Our tree removal went so well! It was a bit of a sticky situation for us since our tree fell onto our camp trailer in our front driveway. Alex came out within 20 min of my call, the crew came out by he next morning and removed and cut the tree up! They were all so professional and personable! We were in awe of the cleanup! YOU COULDNT TELL WE JUST HAD A TREE CUT DOWN!!! It was so tidy and clean- we were impressed! We will certainly have them back to do more work on other trees!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Had a great experience. Time to quote and turnaround on delivery was exceptional. Friendly, highly professional, came well equipped for the huge tree that was removed. Everything came down without a hitch, even with proximity to structures. Left the worksite cleaner than they found it. Quote was to take down my huge multi trunk cedar to the top of the old growth stump and leave the chips behind. Can't recommend or praise enough. Will be doing business with again in the future

They came at the appointment time and took care of the removal of the trees, as well as grinding down the stumps. They did an excellent job, as well as cleaned up afterward. Paying the bill was made easily online and fast.

I work for a municipal organization and hire P&D for all my big tree work. They are always professional, on time, and communicate well, which is everything I like from a contractor.

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
