"long store but please read if you have a tesla charger install by them or electrical work. had a tesla charger installed by them last year 2019 few months after the install the charger stop working i use the tesla model X on the weekends only and charger 1-2 times a month so probably use it less than 15-18 times when the charger stopped working i gave Aztec solar a call and one of the installer came by a week later to fix the issue. and the issue was the breaker caught on fire and burnt that was very dangerous and its a large 80 amp breaker luckily my house didn't burn down any ways their tech replace the breaker and assure me this will not happen again he also made some adjustment to the tesla charger saying the charger is the cause (which is strange because if the charger was the issue by over charger or some thing it will trip the breaker but not cause it to burnt but he knows more than me so i didn't' question him just happy it was fixed) and last month the charger stopped working again i remember the first time the same thing happened so i went to the main panel and check the breaker the breaker is still in the ON position and i can small a bit of burn plastic so i turn it to off then back to on position and i can hear arcing sound from the breaker i immediate put it to the off position again and left it there i gave Aztec solar a call told them the charger stopped working and have the same issue as last time and few days later they called me back and told me the warranty has passed and the service call is 130 dollars plus 70 dollars a hour and gas fee plus part cost. i told them the same issue they try to fix last time was not done properly and the breaker they installed has caught on fire again. they said we still have to charge you even if the problem was not fixed properly last time when the install was still in warranty. if you value your house and don't want to put your family at risk do not use these guys i had another electrician come by and he open the panel and below are the picture of the burnt breaker again the issue was the clamp on the breaker they installed is too far apart and not making good connection on the main panel so it's like a welder getting hot every time i charge and finally just caught on fire luckily this time it didn't burn down my house just have to replace this breaker with the correct one and replace the surrounding breaker that was burn by this one."

"Valley Solar was one of the few companies that we talked to that actually listened to what we wanted. We wanted a solar system with a backup battery to protect against the PG&E "safety" blackouts. Most companies just proposed their standard "cookie cutter" solar system with no battery. When we reminded them that we wanted a battery the usual response was something like, "We should be able to add a battery to this system" - not very confidence inspiring. Valley Solar came with a plan that included exactly what we were asking for. They also had a no-battery system to show us in case we wanted to save some money. The installation went smoothly. The crew was very professional and did a clean and good looking job. They were always ready to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. There were only a couple of negatives. The first was the length of time it took from signing the contract to getting the system installed. The contract was signed on November 26, 2019. It stated an estimated start date of January 15, 2020 and an estimated completion date of February 15, 2020. The actual installation did not take place until the first week of March. The second negative involved the inverter which they chose to use. It was made by Solar Edge, and can be programmed in to function in different ways. One thing that can be changed is the amount of battery energy to reserve for backup protection. This is something that we would like to change at times. If we are going to be away from home for a while, we would like to set this value much higher than when we are at home. The priorities of how the solar energy is split between being used in our home, charging the battery, and sending to PG&E may need changing as PG&E's rate structure changes. The problem is that no provision is made for the customer (who is the owner of the system) to make these changes. We have to call Valley Solar whenever a change has to be made. This makes changing the battery reserve when we go away impractical. We had Valley Solar change the settings when PG&E switched us from the "Tiered" rate plan to the "Time-of-Use" plan. But what about future changes, if Valley Solar, or Solar Edge, is no longer in business? Maybe all inverters have this same problem, which would mean that this is not the fault of Valley Solar. Despite the negatives, we are pleased with Valley Solar, and would recommend them to anyone considering solar energy."

Energyaid insisted on a full system inspection for $299.00 before they would do repairs. My solar indicates that everything is working but I needed help so I agreed. Within one minute of arrival, the tech informed me that nothing could be done about the flashing light on my inverter. He advised waiting for the inverter to fail. What?!! I was trapped into paying for an inspection I did not need. I was then rejected for the $9/month monitoring because of the inverter. The tech left with my $299.00 and no solution to my problem. The next day, I found another tech who took a look at my inverter. He called the manufacturer, found that it was still under warrantee and ordered a replacement and charged me $149.00. Energyaid is a bogus company. They are out to sqeeze you dry."
