Arrived on time, worked hard with few breaks, and competed the move on time. No major damage or problems. Would definitely use again.

Could not have gone better. The estimator Ronald Martin was extremely helpful and professional. The estimate was fair and very accurate. Pick up dates and times and delivery dates and times were exactly what South Hills Movers advised us. While all of this was great, the incredible part was the professionals that did the hands on work. I have never seen a team move so efficiently and carefully. This team was incredibly hard working on miserably hot late June and July days. Every object was carefully padded and moved. There was never a lost moment. South Hills Movers had to shuttle our belongings to a second truck because of an overly steep driveway. While the entire team worked incredibly hard we cannot say enough about John and Matt. They moved the house like they were moving a relative. There were kind, patient, poised and a model of professionalism

South Hills Movers did a fantastic job. It was a great experience. This was our first time using movers and I will definitely use South Hills for any subsequent moves. We had a 4 bedroom, 1 Ba house with a basement, garage and storage shed full of stuff. South Hills gave us 6 guys and 2 trucks. The guys showed up on time and after a walk-through of the house, they got right to work. They were very hard working and seriously strong, beastly men! They moved an upright piano with just two guys some straps and a dolly. They took apart any furniture that wouldn't fit through doorways and said anything they took apart they would put back together at the new house - super nice! They were done loading the truck in about 3 hours and we were on our way to the new house. After a walk through, they got right to work at the new house. They were very careful to make sure all the boxes and furniture went to the correct room. They even helped us move out some old furniture and items the previous owners had left behind. They were done unloading in about 3 hours. While the men were working I got a call from their office to check in and see how things were going but missed the phone call because I was directing the guys on where to put stuff. The office called back a little later and the men were already done! 4pm and I was sitting on my couch in my new house

We used South Hills Movers in October 2015 to move my in-laws from their home to a retirement community. When they needed to move again just 6 months later, we didn't even bother to get other quotes, we just called South Hills. We had the same estimator, Dave, so he was able to use the information from the first move as a starting point. Dave went through everything in the apartment and made sure he had a good understanding of what needed to be moved to each location. This second move was unplanned and needed to happen as soon as possible. He was able to fit us into his schedule for the estimate and also to get us scheduled for our desired move day, which was only 4 days away. When the team, led by Aaron, arrived right on time, we discovered that the elevator that had been identified for our move was out of service. So we ended up having to share the only remaining elevator with the residents of the building. This significantly slowed down the team. But the didn't complain and worked quickly and efficiently to make the best of things. They had everything queued up at the elevator so they were ready when it was available. Unloading at the various locations was quick and easy. Everything was delivered to the correct location and they placed everything exactly where we wanted it. Even after losing time with the elevator issue, they still finished up a little early and the total cost came in a little under the estimate. We will definitely use South Hills next time anyone in the family needs to move

Great Job, Great Crew, Rodger, Chris and Evan did a great job. Nice guys, very professional, everything we've unpacked is in good condition, I highly recommend them. HOWEVER, they used a third party called RMS to move our delicate and expensive clocks and this company did a terrible job. They added charges after they got to our house to pack....which I understand might have been because the clocks were more intricate than they expected, but they did some pretty significant damage to a Grandfather clock. They have done very little to follow up and correct the situation. This clock is over 100 years old, hand carved. The damage might be beyond repair. Really poor job with this clock. But South Hill is great, I highly recommend them but watch our for RMS if you have nice clocks you need to have moved. South Hills moved our baby grand issues so far

Moved everything according to plan, even the piano. Only a couple of pieces ended up in the wrong room, probably due to trying to keep up with it all. Reassembled all furniture. Even disconnected washer at old house, although this was technically our responsibility. Used them almost twenty years ago , and will definitely use again, should the need arise

I contacted South Hills Movers and their sales representative came to our house, reviewed the items we had to move and gave us an estimate of about $1000 for 4 movers and a truck for 6 hours. We accepted and we scheduled the move at that time (about two weeks out). The day before, our move coordinator called to say our move team would arrive at our house at about 8:30 am the next day. On our move day, the team arrived early - about 8:15 am - and everyone introduced themselves and began to assess everything we had to move. It was raining that morning so they took the time to wrap each piece of furniture so it wouldn't get wet. And they were careful not to damage anything in the house. At the new house, they unloaded the truck and carried everything into the house and put it right where we wanted it, including our upright piano. Overall, the men were very courteous, friendly and efficient. And they came in under time and under budget

Excellent - very responsive and most of the pre move stuff was done via email, which was very convenient. I found this mover on here and am happy the recommendations were true. Best move I have had!

It went very well. The original date we set turned out to be in the middle of a snow event (one of many this year) and he was extremely pleasant about changing to another day. The piano came through the move in fine condition. I would use him again
