On a recommendation from another contractor (who didn't do asbestos removal), we called Carl Frank to do the work. Frank came out, was able to give a quick estimate, and explained the entire procedure to us. From the first call to the work being done it only took maybe a week/week and a half, and that was more due to my schedule than theirs. They taped everything off, and ran an air cleaner the whole time. They were even able to get the tile out from under the furnace and water heater somehow. It was about a 660 sq. ft basement, and it only took them half a day to get the job done. They provided a certificate that they had done the abatement when they were done. I would have no reservations about hiring them again. Their price was so reasonable, I wouldn't even think about cutting corners to have someone else do it cheaper

They complied, and everything came out pretty well. The "B"s in this rating have to do with things feeling shady. In the end they did the right thing

"When I scheduled a visit for an estimate, they were exactly on time. The estimate I received was the most detailed estimate I have seen in a long time. You knew exactly what was going to be done. The date was set for the work to be done and the guys were right on time. They made sure every register in the house was properly covered and the basement sealed off before the work began. It was an all day job and the two men were as nice as could be. The clean up after they were finished was also excellent.
<br /> Samantha Ginsburg is the Operations Manager and is a dream to deal with. If you have any questions or issues, she is happy to help out. Even though this company had the highest estimate, the detail within the estimate and the effort they made to be on time along with a super job made the slightly higher cost well worth it.
