"My Realtor is Ed Surchik. I found him on the Dave Ramsey website under Endorsed Local Providers (ELP). <br /> What really sets Ed apart is that he left on vacation for a time during my home purchase and again for a relatives funeral (both out of state for multiple days) during the weekend I was closing on my home. His staff includes Sue Hite. I don't know what Sue does in Ed's office, but remembering anything about a client is not her top priority. She constantly emailed to our work, about trivial things that could have waited until that night. Better yet, she could have called our cell phones or used our private email addresses. Instead, I had to ask her to refrain from sending so many daily emails and never to our work emails again. We gave them our email addresses when we signed on with Red Brick Realty, but doesn't common sense dictate that you use the private email address unless specifically directed to use the work email? Maybe I missed that one. Not having Ed available on my closing weekend was tough as I never purchased a home before. At times, I felt Ed was working for the seller. He just seemed more interested in their needs and concerns over mine. His last texts to me were a bit unprofessional as well. Maybe it was because I called him while he was at the funeral, but no one in his office stepped up to help me either. After all is said and done, he did find me the home I wanted. I had to consistently re-focus him on what I was looking for. His initial several searches were not anything I was interested in. I thought I filled out a questionnaire that stated what I was looking for? I can't remember anymore. Maybe Ed just has too many clients to really focus in the under $200K range? I won't use Ed or Red Brick again as there are too many other Realtors in the Phx area. I have Realtor friends, but wanted to keep it unbiased and so I chose to use a 3rd party.
