"I am very happy we chose Exact Solar for our solar installation. I got several quotes (several via EnergySage). I ultimately chose Exact Solar primarily because of their reputation, especially after I spoke with several people who used Exact Solar for their solar installation. Choosing the right installer is about getting the installation done right and having the same high level of service after the installation is complete. This is why I chose Exact Solar. It's somewhat analogous to buying a car where you're required to service the vehicle at the dealership where you bought it. You should be really happy with the dealership. The entire process of quote, contract signing, scheduling and install was smooth and professional. The installation team was great. On the second morning of the install, my car battery was dead and the guys gave me a jump right away. Post installation, Exact Solar responded to my numerous questions promptly and professionally (and I had many, many questions). And they facilitated the process of signing me up with an SREC broker. Our solar production is already ahead of forecast. We're still in our first year and our production so far is ~11% above our estimated production for the entire first year.show more

"Contract was signed on the 6th of January, installation took two days (2/22 and 2/25), inspection was done on 3/22 and PECO installed the meters on 3/24. Through this timeline Solar States kept me informed and educated about my solar array and its benefits. For instance, the sales associate sent me a picture of my roof showing how many panels it could hold and we discussed at length which panels would be used and how they would be placed. After that we talked about placement of meters and the inverter. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and patient, there was never a problem with him stopping by or responding to any question I had, although there were a couple of minor glitches. <br /> On the first day of installation there was a disagreement between the installer and me as to placement of the inverter, I wanted it inside, he suggested it be placed outside. After a short debate it was decided to place the inverter outside. In my particular case, it was difficult to place the inverter inside where I wanted. Also, after the installation was done I discovered a couple of cinder blocks were missing that held down a group of panels. Called Solar States and they sent a couple of people right out to with the extra blocks, no problem. Just an oversight. <br /> My overall experience with Solar States was very positive. They stuck to their timeline, kept me informed, took care of any concerns, and charged a reasonable price. <br /> I would use them again if the opportunity arose. <br />show more

"We hired John Elliott General Contractor to do a wide range of work. Room remodeling in which a suspended tile ceiling with insulation was replaced with a solid sheet rock ceiling and new insulation. An existing sun deck was completely replaced and well enforced. The workmanship and materials used were first class. The appearance of the new deck is very pleasing. Remodeling in house stairs, including installing a new light. Installing an addition to a concrete walkway in the front yard. All the work was done with exceptional quality. The crew was always on time and all jobs were done timely. Clean up was done daily.
