The technician also does a visual survey of the chimney outdoors and points out anything that could be a future issue
- Andersons Mechanical Service LLCI called to get a gas fireplace cleaning / tune-up. I was able to get an appointment within a week for my place in Bloomington with a two hour time window. Charlie and Aaron came to provide the service, and they gave me a call twenty minutes before arriving. They were very professional and completed the job within about twenty minutes. The total came to $107.07. I'll be happy to use them again
- PLUMB RIGHTThey were fantastic! Always on time, clean, professional and friendly. They brainstormed to solve problems as we ran into a few snags, as always happens when you are retrofitting an existing house. They always came up with work arounds. I think I was most impressed with how they interacted with the inspector and then when it came to actually installing the new stove. There was not much room to fit the gas line into the stove, but as usual, they found a way to make it work. I could not be more impressed with Plumb Right. If there were a way to give them an "A Plus" rating, I would do it. I will certainly recommend them to friends who need plumbing done, and I will use them again. I am going to miss them

"Dean arrived on time, was professional, carefully took apart the gas fireplace to clean and complete the safety checks. I particularly appreciated that he was meticulous in putting the fireplace back together so that the flames were between the logs and that the log placement and “embers” looked natural. The glass was carefully cleaned and is looking new. I appreciated his attention to detail. Dean left no mess when he left.

"Quality of work was good, but told by installer plumber that if I had any questions, to call Paul, the owner. I did have a question about possibly the need for an elbow to connect to the stove, but when I called Paul to ask about the need for an elbow, he became very upset that I was questioning his plumber's work. It was not a good experience. He did not even let me express my concern before he became very upset. For this reason I would not hire this plumber again.

"They did a great job and were very professional. I'd use them again. But BEWARE, big surprise when I got the bill. Angie's List says they charge $122 an hour, but they billed me @ $136 an hour--a total of $105 more than I was expecting to pay for this job. Kelly's says they have no control over what Angie's List puts on their website. Angie: Please correct the rate you state for this provider or simply remove it to avoid customer surprises.
