We hired him to complete our dream master bathroom remodel, as well as remodeling our laundry room. All I can say is-HIRE HIM. Our project went above and beyond our expectations and we are so happy with the outcome. Our project was a large one-including knocking down walls, re-configuring the master bath and laundry room, and installation of a CUSTOM tiled walk in shower.   This is the 3rd time we've hired Adam and Pat. They do excellent work and the attention to detail is very impressive. We have a 1930's home where no project is easy and they always find a solution to make things work without compromising quality. They finished our basement which had plenty of challenges such as original windows to replace, very low ceilings, and old original doors/doorways. The final outcome exceeded our expectations and is a great addition to our house where living space is at a premium. Adam is by far the most honest contractor I've ever worked with and truly cares about providing quality service to make sure his customers are satisfied. Please realize he is in high demand and getting ahold of him can be difficult until he is actually on your project at which time he is always available to you (I appreciate that he dedicates his time to my project, generally not to answering calls from others while at my property).   Adam and Pat do very good work and at a very affordable rate. Both are very friendly and knowledgeable. Adam is very honest and upfront about what he is capable/comfortable doing and what is recommended. He won't suggest repairs that aren't needed. They did a great job on installing a vanity in an old 1930's bathroom and removing a wood burning stove, including repair of the roof. This is the second time I've used Adam's services and no complaints from me. I've always been impressed with the time Adam spends during the estimating process.   I hired Adam to re-plaster our ceiling. It was crumbling down from a water leak in the roof, which had been leaking since it was re-shingled a few years ago. I thought the leak was fixed, but it was not - as I found out during the rainy weekend before Adam arrived. Even though Adam just did an estimate of the re-plastering and painting, he also went on the roof to figure out what the problem was. It has not leaked since! This was after I had a number of people already on the roof - roofers, masons looking at the chimney, and another handyman. I was very happy about that. In the end, Adam (and Patrick) completed the job they came for (fixing the ceiling), and added the work of fixing the flashing on the roof (were the leak was) and installed a chimney cap. Even with the extra work, he charged less than what his initial estimate was. Adam was friendly, smart and efficient. I will definitely use him againshow more

  Painting has been in the Charlesworth family for three generations and it shows! Casey Charlesworth was easy to work with, thorough in his explanations of services and costs and superior in the quality of his work and cleanup. His bid was the lowest of three painters I contacted, even though he had to add on extra for plaster repair in my old house. Three rooms were painted; the kitchen, living room and dining room. Wallpaper was removed in the kitchen and plastering was done as needed. He even fixed my broken front door screen for free! I highly recommend himshow more

  Very well. It was a busy time of the year so I had to wait for about three weeks, but the wait was worth it. Once our schedule was set Ted was always on time, prepared to work, and worked full days (it took about 7 days). Ted is very efficient and neat. Because of the scope of the job-and my dog and I were living in the house- it could have been very difficult to be in the space but Ted was very organized and worked with me to keep living space available as he worked. There was a lot of prep work to do for this job including some rather large holes and cracked plaster but you would never know it now. The final price was only slightly over the estimate because I added some extras to the job. I was very happy with the experience, my house looks beautiful and I would definitely work with Ted againshow more
