Ted, Susan and Carly were all so wonderful to work with. Not only did they do a magnificent job and were flexible with my timeline, I also thoroughly enjoyed the process of working with them and will absolutely be using them again for my next project! I plan on recommending them to anyone and everyone who needs some painting done! Wonderful people, excellent work and amazing customer service. Thank you guys!!

Ted's Painting does very high-quality work. They are very particular that nothing be left undone. They pay great attention to detail and work hard all the hours they are in the house. Also, they are very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT ON SCHEDULED. VERY POLITE AND CHEERFUL. HIS HELPER WAS ALSO MOST PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS A JOY TO HAVE THEM HERE AS THEY WERE CAREFUL TO CLEAN UP EACH DAY.

We first learned about Ted’s Painting from a friend of ours who had painting done by them before. Once work started on our house, We were impressed by the amount of prep work done, how well the tools and supplies were cleaned up every day, and by how well the results look. But on top of that, Ted and Carly really worked hard and were great people to be around. They are masters of their craft. As far as we’re concerned, they will be our go-to going forward for all of our home painting needs.

Ted and Carly were wonderful. They were punctual, communicative, and did a very high quality job for a very competitive price. I am especially grateful because Ted worked me into his schedule so my job could be completed before the end of the summer. Will definitely hire again!

We have used Ted before for four very complex jobs and once again he did absolutely splendid work Both jobs this summer were quite complex and required considerable fine detail work. Ted is a perfectionist. He is always on time and very professional in his scheduling. Next year we will have him paying the exterior of our home. Ted’s prices are quite reasonable.

Ted and his assistant Carly were terrific. The price was reasonable, and the house looks wonderful. A pleasure to work with them.

Ted did a great job for us--pressure washed and applied 2 coats of stain. There were some weather delays due to heavy rains, but his wife/scheduler Sue kept us informed, and he was very professional and prompt when weather conditions improved and he was able to work.

Got an estimate pronto in April, but it's the middle of August and we've finally given up and did the job ourselves. Multiple excuses... including repeating he was behind on his outside jobs because of all the rain (isn't that when you come and do our inside job???), heat, headaches, a birthday..... Stopped replaying to our emails. Became clear he didn't really want to do our job. If he would've just told us that we would've saved 4 months of waiting for the work to get done... not to mention setting aside the days he was going to come and then didn't. Very disappointed. Used him once before and he did a great job but this time was a total failure. But, in the end, we got it done ourselves... should've done that back in April!

We bought a house w/ high, vaulted ceilings that was in desperate need of painting. We got a few bids - and fortunately selected Ted. Words cannot describe how impressed with him, from the quality of his work to his professionalism - along with being a nice, honest guy. Other Angie's List reviews were spot on. We'd hire him again in a New York Minute!

Ted was incredibly professional. He did a wonderful job, was pleasant with our family and cleaned up each night. The job came in on budget and timeline and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Ted's work is professional and we are happy with the result. The project took close to 2 weeks, which was his projection. His estimate (we had 4 others ) was competitive. There were 3 rooms, a hallway, 3 bedrooms, 2 stairs and 5 exterior doors that needed new paint on walls and or ceilings and considerable wallpaper to remove. He had good suggestions for colors and responded to any of our concerns right away.. We would hire Ted again and also recommend him. He is very unobtrusive and a pleasant person. He arrived each day when he said he would and went straight to work, took a short lunch, and worked well into the late afternoon. All of his supplies and paint were neatly stored away at night. We were home most of the time and were hardly aware of his presence. A rare tradesman who does NOT have music going!!

Ted and Sue are personable and responsive. This is a small local company, and we appreciate working with them. They painted the exterior of our 2,000 sq. ft. 1955 redwood-sided ranch house a couple years ago. It had been pale green and we went for a dark color so I was worried about coverage -- they did a great job. The photo is just from Google Maps and is a year ago, which was 1-2 years after the paint job. Still looking good. This year we replaced some of the siding and had Ted come up to prime and paint that bare wood and do a general touch-up. I don't remember what the whole house cost a few years ago; I listed the price for this year's repair & touch up. We would definitely use them again, and recommend them without reservation.

Ted was very prompt in his estimate and getting back to us about the estimate. We would have hired him if not for a family recommendation. He was professional and very pleasant to talk to and we were going to hire him except for the last minute recommendation. Now if this does not work out we are surely calling Ted!

Extremely well. Ted is incredibly meticulous, and works quickly and efficiently. The rooms look beautiful! There was a snowstorm the night before our project was to begin, which caused delays for just about everyone the next morning. But Ted was great about communicating with us to let us know his timing and exactly when he would arrive. We will definitely contract with him again.

Ted did an excellent job delivering on what he promised, on time and within budget. Couldn’t be happier with his work. He was methodic, thorough, cleaned as he went. Amiable and pleasant, but not intrusive. We had Ted paint our oak trim to white. We selected the colors, but his overall input was welcomed and informed in helping us realize our plan. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others. And a special thanks to him for providing such wonderful service even though he had a death in the family.

Very well. It was a busy time of the year so I had to wait for about three weeks, but the wait was worth it. Once our schedule was set Ted was always on time, prepared to work, and worked full days (it took about 7 days). Ted is very efficient and neat. Because of the scope of the job-and my dog and I were living in the house- it could have been very difficult to be in the space but Ted was very organized and worked with me to keep living space available as he worked. There was a lot of prep work to do for this job including some rather large holes and cracked plaster but you would never know it now. The final price was only slightly over the estimate because I added some extras to the job. I was very happy with the experience, my house looks beautiful and I would definitely work with Ted again.

Ted did an absolutely splendid job. He is a perfectionist,the best painter we have worked with. His prices are reasonable and we will consider him for future work, including exterior.

Went fine except some drywall flaws (nail pops, tape) were missed that were supposed to be taken care of.

Went absolutely fantastic. It took a while but Ted was here every day. What to you want? A slower meticulous painter or a quick sloppy one? Ted has a terrific eye for detail and takes a huge amount of pride in his work.

Easy to work with. Very good quality. There was confusion on pricing because there was a listing that showed his regular price and another that showed a discounted price. When I asked him for the lower price, he responded that Angie's list was not supposed to show 2 prices at one time and I should go there.

It was excellent. He did a very good job. He touched up any areas that needed minor repairs. They were on time. His wife followed up regularly. They provided a shop who offered discounts on paint as well.
