Trapping USA is your local nuisance wildlife specialist. We specialize in high-end animal removal services for large properties. We take great care to not only resolve your present issue, but to secure your property’s future as well. We provide a full spectrum of services related to wildlife removal. Our technicians are fully trained and equipped to deal with all infestations common to DFW (rats, squirrels, possums, etc.) as well as those less common, such as bees, bats, and hogs. If it is in your property, we WILL take it out! We aim to meet the customer’s needs, by first offering a free property inspection. We do not then merely remove the problem animals. Our proven 3-step process seals the property against any further incursions, lays humane traps for a 2-week period during which they are checked 3 times a week, and cleans out all traces of prior animal activity before sanitizing the affected areas. Trapping USA also offers an attic restoration service, in which we remove your current insulation, sanitize the attic space, and blow in new insulation. We use a specific high-quality, environmentally-friendly cellulose product shown to lower energy bills, block outside noise, and improve air quality in addition to providing thermal insulation. We blow this material to a minimum insulation value of R38. Our 3-step process is backed up by a warranty program as well. Details should be discussed with the inspecting technician, but in short, we are willing to guarantee the quality of work on your property for as long as you own it, and to correct any new incursions. We also remove dead animals. Once done, we will still offer a free inspection of the property. Our trained technicians WILL locate how the animals got in your home and WILL provide a solution to get and KEEP them out. Our focus is to protect you from unhealthy living conditions caused by unwelcome visitors, and ensure native Texas wildlife continues to thrive in areas protected from human expansion.

"I had high hopes for Trapping USA, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. I hired them for a month-long service to trap and remove two coyotes that have been regularly roaming my neighborhood and particularly my backyard creek. While I understood there was no guarantee of success, I was encouraged by the promise of camera monitoring, regular trap checks, and the use of live bait. However, from day one, the execution was lacking. Despite their assurance, no live bait was ever used—just raw chicken. When I followed up, I was told they would only use live bait if coyotes were spotted on the cameras. Yet throughout the service, they claimed not to have seen a single coyote, even though I’ve personally encountered them multiple times, including just this morning when I came face-to-face with two large coyotes during a dog walk. I called the owner, Hunter, to express my concern and frustration. Rather than listening, he became immediately defensive, accusing me of being disrespectful and claiming I was “talking down” to him. When I asked for an example of how I was talking down to him, he couldn’t give one. He continuously interrupted, raised his voice, and refused to acknowledge the aggressive tone he was using. The conversation escalated unnecessarily, and his lack of professionalism and emotional maturity was apparent. While the team did trap a fox and a few smaller animals, the main issue—the coyotes—was never addressed effectively. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Trapping USA. Their customer service was poor, and the results did not justify the $4,700.00 cost."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Combining pest control with other home upgrades in Houston can be highly effective, especially given the city’s humid climate and frequent pest infestations. Coordinating pest exclusion with attic insulation, HVAC servicing, or foundation sealing can help address entry points and moisture issues simultaneously. Many Houston providers offer bundled service options, which can streamline scheduling and minimize disruption while enhancing your home’s overall protection.

Helpful?

In Houston, pest control provides immediate relief from common infestations like fire ants, termites, and mosquitoes, which thrive in the local climate. Long-term benefits include preventing structural damage from termites and rodents, reducing allergy risks, and maintaining your property’s value. Regular pest management also helps control recurring infestations and supports a healthier, more comfortable living environment for your family.

Helpful?

Before hiring pest control pros in Houston, request written estimates, confirm experience with local pests, and check references from area homeowners. Prepare your home by clearing access to attics, crawl spaces, and exterior walls, trimming back vegetation, and addressing any standing water or leaks. Schedule service ahead of peak pest season, and be cautious of companies using high-pressure sales tactics or offering unusually low estimates.

Helpful?

In Houston, hidden costs during pest control can include repairs for termite or rodent damage discovered during inspections, additional treatments for persistent infestations, and exclusion work to seal entry points. Moisture control steps, such as improving drainage or installing vapor barriers, may also be needed. After heavy rain or flooding, extra pest prevention measures are sometimes necessary, so it’s wise to discuss potential scenarios with your provider.

Helpful?

Your Houston home is a strong candidate for pest control if you see signs like mud tubes from termites, ant trails, droppings, or gnawed wood. Properties with dense landscaping, high humidity, or standing water are especially vulnerable to infestations. Older homes and those near bayous or wooded areas should consider regular pest inspections to prevent recurring problems unique to Houston’s environment.
